the 2007 crop just isn't that flashy at this point in time, so to answer your question Kane should have been the pick but he is a very weak one at that.
that's just it there is no wow factor for as much as he was hyped coming in and being a number pick there isn't that wow factor-maybe I'm excpecting being a scoring forward for him to have an impact like the Kid or Ovechkin and that there isn't.
to get a one seed we would need to win both this weekend and win the final five five and hope a few other things go our way and even that is questionable. realistically a 5-6 seed will be about as high as we'll probably finish.
I stopped being interested in the bball toruney about 10 years ago. for some of the same reasons. How big of a college hockey fan mustr gopherz be if he will skip the final five and go to a bball toruney.
Wow, the downside of playing tech is even with a sweep our rpi barely moves. even if we swept and vermont got swept and denver and aa went three we still wouldn't pass either of them in rpi.
I thought the herald had an atrticle last week about Marto and how his +/- has really turned around since november and is now leading the team. you are correct McBain has had all year to turn it around.
I'll go with number 1. As far as the last statement I think the only game they mailed it in was the Sat game against DU. Fri night against DU they outplayed DU convincingly but lost real late. Last weekend they had some issues with the refs and video replays of goals.
One thing I don't like about this weekend is how many people are thinking that our winning the Cup is a forgone conclusion and counting the Badgers out. I can see the Badgers being a very dangerous team this weekend as they are a wounded animal.
