yeah, we have no shot at a one seed if we lose the yale comparison.

actually we want RIT to win because as bad as this sounds it will knock mankato out of TUC status and with mankato not being in TUC status there is no way yale will get to 10 TUC games. if yale gets to 10 they will win the comparison with us and there will be no way we can get it back unless they would drop 2 at the ECAC finals. with mankato a TUC it would hurt us more than help us with yale.

Congrats to the Beavers. By the way would anyone have footage of their game winning goal I checked youtube and all they had was the trophy presentation.

two things that could help WCHA bubble teams-Cornell is about ready to play itself out of the tournament and ohio state with another loss tonight will probably fall on the wrong side of the bubble which could leave cc,um,umd,wisc and our nemesis bc all lurking to make the tourney.

here's a funny scenario, we finish with a one seed and get BC in the first round

if we finish higher than them at the final five we would in all liklihood flip that comparison. does that mean we'd pass them in the pairwise-not necessarily. we would still have to either win one more comparison or du would have to lose one for us to get into a tie with them or pass them. if we have the same amount of comparison wins as DU whoever has the higher rpi would get the tiebreaker. that's what makes tonight's game that much more important. if we lose tonight we have absolutely no shot at a number one seed as our rpi will take a HUGE hit.

Our path to a number one seed is very simple. We need to flip the Vermont and Denver comparisons plus make sure we have a higher rpi than Denver and we should get a one seed.

should the gophers not make it like I said the NCAA won't care one way or the other if those people show up or not as they will already have their money.

It'll just help UND"s rpi and that's it as BSU will be a TUC technically but it won't help UND's TUC record.

that is another story, but than that is just people wasting money-which won't affect the $$$ the ncaa makes.

what the conspiracy people fail to realize is that there have been over 7000 tickets already sold for this regional so the NCAA already has a good chunk of money for this regional. this will be probably the best drawing regional whether the goophs are in it or not.

this was only the second time I can ever remember hearing and seeing UND fans cheer for NDSU, the other was in Oct of 2006 when they played the gophers and almost won when their last second field goal attempt was blocked. I was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Grand Forks and it was a weird sight seeing people in Sioux hockey jerseys(the Sioux played Maine that night) cheering for the Bison.

maybe he could schedule the gophers that friday and that way the gophers could say they were playing april.

I think three for sure will get in(either cc or duluth) and if the goophs make it to the final 5 they will get in as well. I'm not sure why everyone is on board the scsu bandwagon right now to beat the gophs. they didn't play very well this last weekend against msum and are 0-4 against the gophs onthe season. yes I know it huskies are due but it could just be for one game.
