this was only the second time I can ever remember hearing and seeing UND fans cheer for NDSU, the other was in Oct of 2006 when they played the gophers and almost won when their last second field goal attempt was blocked. I was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Grand Forks and it was a weird sight seeing people in Sioux hockey jerseys(the Sioux played Maine that night) cheering for the Bison.

maybe he could schedule the gophers that friday and that way the gophers could say they were playing april.

I think three for sure will get in(either cc or duluth) and if the goophs make it to the final 5 they will get in as well. I'm not sure why everyone is on board the scsu bandwagon right now to beat the gophs. they didn't play very well this last weekend against msum and are 0-4 against the gophs onthe season. yes I know it huskies are due but it could just be for one game.

here would be a fun scenario. Michigan ends up the 3 seed, the goophs end up the fourteen seed and we end up the 6 seed all placed together in the west regional four the third time in 4 years. Imagine Red's expression at the announcement of that bracket.

I was at the 97 frozen four and the feeling all day wed and thurs through our game was that Michigan was going to cruise to a title and then low and behold BU beats them and the feeling around the Bradley Center went to WOW, we can actually win this thing. A few of the players after the title game that year said they didn't think they would be able to beat Michigan and were glad they didn't have to face them.

that's just it there is no wow factor for as much as he was hyped coming in and being a number pick there isn't that wow factor-maybe I'm excpecting being a scoring forward for him to have an impact like the Kid or Ovechkin and that there isn't.

to get a one seed we would need to win both this weekend and win the final five five and hope a few other things go our way and even that is questionable. realistically a 5-6 seed will be about as high as we'll probably finish.
