  1. agree 100%, and weren't a lot of gophers fans sizing up their championship rings in November?
  2. I won't count the gophers out until they are sitting in 15th in the pairwise on sunday march 22, the schedule is still in their favor.
  3. we did move up one spot, it wasn't that bad. as if you look over the course of the past few weeks UND hasn't gotten much help at all and we still have moved up. hey if msu wins on tues maybe we'll move up another spot or two.
  4. absolutely, they were in about this same position last year and played well down the stretch. their schedule is very favorable to them: tonight at cc next week duluth at home following week tech at home they could go 3-2 or 4-1 get home ice and then anything can happen.
  5. Hey Jim, hypothetically(sp) how high up could the Sioux finish in the pairwise 5 or 6 if we keep up our current trend.
  6. 3679 my foot I would be willing to bet closer to 10.
  7. its because he keeps picking the gophers
  8. can being offsides be reviewed if a goal happens?
  9. I think I put in one too many question marks, I didn't intend for the icon to be there. my point was that every season under hak we have finished one place higher than the previous year and according to the progression we would finish first this year as we finished second last year.
  10. As much as it pains me to say I wouldn't mind seeing cc lose tonight as we play them next week. I don't want them coming in with a load of momentum(5 game unbeaten streak) as we will be coming back from anchorage and the track record of teams coming back from anchorage is not good especially the first game back.
  11. I'm getting ahead of myself but under Hak there has been progress in the WCHA: 2005-5th place 2006-4th place 2007-3rd place 2008-2nd place 2009-? fill it in guys
  12. how can you say you had no chance afterall that went on you were still tied with under 5 play with a chance to win?
  13. if you take it outfar enough the wildcats might have a .00001 advantage.
  14. we won't get those until about an hour or so before the game.
  15. maybe if we go all out and get a few things done this and next weekend maybe we'll have all the marbels in hand and that series will lose some luster that being said we need two wins this weekend.

    PICK'EM

    Jones x3 (all unasssited)
  17. per Brad's blog, Bruess has been suspended one game.
  18. I'm 1-1(97,08) at FF's, but 3-0(05,06,07) at regionals. So I'm thinking more of a regional this year.
  19. like me last year.
  20. Last year JPL was hung out way more than Jpar. If I recall on BC's first two goals they beat Jpar from shots from the top of the circle or there abouts.
  21. If the Cup is on the line I would be shocked if FSSN didn't pick it up, they usually have over the years.
  22. I don't know if I would say we had the better team, but the first 3 goals he gave up were not good if I recall.
  23. unless one of us is a 4 seed we won't be in mpls.
  24. as of right now not too much either way. the only comparison where it affected us was the NE comparison. however, maine becoming a TUC helped them more as NE is 3-0 against Maine. now should Maine falter down the stretch we'll get that comparison back regardless of msum becoming a tuc or not. so root for maine to lose and msum to win.
  25. to ammend this should we sweep all we should need to flip some comparisons: one NH loss one Cornell loss a NE split with BU would flip it or Maine dropping out of TUC status would flip that comparison as well
