I agree with Coach of the year and rookie of the year. I'm disappointed in player of the year. (not saying Junior doesn't deserve it, I'm just disappointed)

I had the opportunity to watch the tape from the UM - SCSU game... and SCSU was in full Dahl stall. I mean really f'ing bad. Their defense was MIA. Don't get me wrong, I am respectfully cautious of the gopher hockey team. They are very talented. I just don't think they were as offensively sharp as SCSU was defensively !@#!$. UMD will not roll over for the gophers like St. Cloud did... it will be a great hockey game. My avatar and signature aside... I'm really trying to be objective.

The "word around the campfire" is that WDAZ is trying to sell advertising to those people who initially purchased for the womens bb coverage. My source tells me that this game, however, will cost more than the bb game... so they need to sell a bunch of advertising in a hurry. They're trying!

I think so... any good ink can't hurt. Possibly, they are certainly both deserving of the award, and probably the top forwards in the nation. Somehow, though, I think they'll avoid two players from the same team at any cost. Especially two players from North Dakota. Yes... If it happens, voting will be split... which is no good for either of them. Bochenski or Parise... that's one helluva question. I have no answer.

What was the television covereage last year? Did FOX cover the afternoon game? It sucks they aren't carrying the game; but if the precident is no afternoon coverage, we may be screaming to deaf ears. Maybe the Fighting Sioux Sports Network will cover it... If I remember correctly, last season they picked up the NCAA game in a "last minute" fashion.

I believe this is the last year of the "Minnesota Rule."

The Sioux also get to play an opponent who just played the night before, giving them a decided advantage in the Friday afternoon game. Besides, the gopher fans won't show up to "boo" us either. (well at least not all of them) I think the "Minnesota Rule" actually helps us this year.

When I get to the office at 4:30AM, I usually take some liberties at 4:30PM. (I'm getting paid?)
