  1. Maybe I'm the one who mis-interpreted what my friend was saying. But, yes, that's what it sounded like. They joined FSC at the minimum level, and purchased football season tickets. I know there were "preference points" awarded when the new arenas opened, which allowed former ticket holders, donors, letterwinners, etc. preference in choosing their seats. That's why it didn't surprise me when he was talking about this stuff. But like I said, maybe I didn't understand him completely. I'd check with FSC to be sure. My apologies in advance if this isn't the case and I mis-led anyone.
  2. Right on, Sic... and so will our friends who are #118 on the hockey waiting list. In fact, they joined the FSC just to advance their position on said list. Those that are giving up their seats because of the new FSC rules are not going to get them back soon... I hope they realize that before they do something rash. I was really pissed that tickets went up again this year, but what am I going to do? Give up my seats? Yeah... right.
  3. I never got that letter... just brought my check in and renewed as usual. No communication was necessary, I guess. In the past, though, I've always had good luck getting in touch with Rob B., but maybe Mark R. isn't as fan friendly as Rob is. Did you try calling him directly?
  4. Many times it has been posted that Major Junior is the "fast-track" to the NHL. Yet with some of the talent we've seen in college hockey recently, is this changing? Does MJ have that much more talent than the upper tier NCAA teams? I'm not very familiar with MJ hockey, and I'm hoping someone can explain. Thanks.
  5. As a comparison, what are the experience ratings for other "power" teams in the NCAA? Any 2.5+ out there?
  6. More first half points, less bubble screens. If he leaves any time soon, it would be tough for the football program to find a qualified replacement in time for the upcoming season. Is there anyone on staff that is qualified to step in, even if only as an interim OC?
  7. Southgate always has a good crowd for the games too. (they also have the best sirloin tips in the city) The "house" has been known to buy a round on occasion after an early Sioux goal too!
  8. Now that you mentioned it... I can be bought too! $1K/ seat/ night doesn't sound bad at all. And I've got REALLY GOOD seats!
  9. If I were you, I'd remind them of the fact. I know a photographer that would be going apeshit if he was in your shoes.
  10. Our mods rule! Thanks!
  11. It might be difficult unless you have a connection with some corporate seats or something of that nature. I know my gopher series seats will always have my butt in them! Check out this POI thread about standing room only seats. Not to steer you away, but it isn't the best place in the REA to catch game action...
  12. Does anyone have a copy of that ad from I believe, early last season? If you do, I'd sure like to have a copy. Please post or PM. Thanks!
  13. I would imagine the information hasn't been updated. He was coming to UND at one time...
  14. If I had to guess, I would say that they don't own that property anyway. Their property line more than likely only goes up to a platted right of way for a future street. (as was mentioned, an extension of Princeton) If they do own that property, I'm sure there is an ingress/ egress easement already recorded. If you remember, there were "FEMA" trailers to the north of Phi Delta Theta, and that roadway/ parking area was the access to these temporary homes. This is probably when such an easement might have been granted and subsequently recorded. Again, this is assuming they own that property.
  15. Well that depends... are you interested in the main house or the guest house. Both are very accomodating... it all depends on the size of your group. No cockroaches... just dung beetles. And they're in the stables, not the houses. Usually my stable man keeps things pretty clean, though...
  16. Never underestimate a business' willingness to gouge the hell out of you whenever possible. (... maybe I will rent my home out that week)
  17. Here's a funny Commodore website... I like the online petition and career projections...
  18. I believe he's banned here...
  19. As well as Greene & Bochenski...
  20. Great movie, and great idea. Personally, I liked "Tony Dogs'" head in the vice... still probably not half as horrid as what Ms. Sjodin suffered through. I think I could find a couple of guys from back home to help me out.
  21. vs. 1 - .243 bullet $0.55 1 - Shovel from Menards $14.99 My labor - $0.00
  22. While he did nothing to lose it, I can't off hand think of any outstanding instances of what he did to keep it. (This of course from someone who has no idea of his leadership role in the locker-room and practices.)
  23. As far as acoustics, unless you're on the main floor of REA... I think the sound is overall better at the Alerus. Of course I love the sound of a dobro, so maybe the resonating tin is what's appealing to my ears. A volunteer tour guide would do the trick, but as I mentioned in a previous post, I don't think "eating the tour-guide's wages" is a big financial burden at REA.
  24. Thanks, NDH... a very good thread.
  25. I don't believe we have a signed LOI from Siouxrock...
