  1. It's the Champion's Club level I'm at. Coach's Club drives the price per ticket up. Once I realized that I decided to break the season tickets up and sell them on a game-by-game basis.
  2. Not that much different than the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. UND Fighting Dakotans isn't too bad.
  3. I've already bought a pair on StubHub for the Saturday UND-UM game. $220.
  4. Overpaying by StubHub it is then!
  5. Southern Utah's nickname is irrelevant. As is the Ag School's nickname's nickname.
  6. Thunderbirds. Maintains the American Indian legacy, but it is not specific to any one tribe.

  8. I have a pair of season tickets that I am going to break up and sell on a game-by-game basis. I am not looking to profit on the tickets as the prices I am asking would simply recoup my costs. They are priced near face value and are less than what they can be purchased for through Ticketmaster. The seats are located in Section 314, Row F, I have two seats available for every home game, and the prices listed below are per ticket. If you are interested, send me a direct message or email me at: fightingsioux1@hotmail.com Manitoba (Ex), Sat Oct 6, $20 Team USA (Ex), Fri Oct 12, $20 Alaska-Anchorage, Fri Oct 26, $35 Alaska-Anchorage, Sat Oct 27, $35 Boston U., Fri Nov 2, $40 Boston U., Sat Nov 3, $40 Minnesota-Duluth, Fri Nov 16, $40 Minnesota-Duluth, Sat Nov 17, $40 Denver, Fri Dec 7, $50 Denver, Sat Dec 8, $50 Holy Cross, Fri Jan 4, $20 Holy Cross, Sat Jan 5, $20 CC, Fri Jan 11, $40 CC, Sat Jan 12, $40 St. Cloud State, Fri Jan 25, $40 St. Cloud State, Sat Jan 26, $40 Wisconsin, Fri Feb 1, $40 - SOLD Wisconsin, Sat Feb 2, $40 - SOLD Bemidji State, Fri Mar 1, $35 Bemidji State, Sat Mar 2, $35
  9. No, just Saturday. The Friday game is at the Century Link Center & tickets for that game go on-sale in November.

  11. I checked this morning, still no on-sale date listed.
  12. Presale started today, onsale to Gen Public is next Monday.
  13. McCoshen would be a great addition. UND could be losing a lot of experience on D next year (MacWilliam, Gleason graduating, plus potential early departures), so adding a d-man of McCoshen's caliber would be huge. Crisfield and LaDue will for sure be coming in next fall, but does anyone know if Keaton Thompson is accelerating his education in case he is needed to come in next season? I know he was planning on doing so, haven't heard anything since. A big-time forward recruit to keep an eye on is Ryan Gropp of Penticton (BCHL). He's one of the top 96ers out there, and I was told that the UND staff was hard after a couple Vees' players (Wade Murphy obviously being one of them), and I'm guessing Gropp is the other as he is being heavily recruited by many teams. His dad played at CC, but he did attend Okanagan Hockey Academy (Dixon Ward, the MacMillan brothers).
  14. He was a borderline NHL Draft prospect along with guys like Farley and Caggiula that didn't get drafted, and Nanne and Toninato, who did get drafted. If he plays a full year the way he played in the playoffs last sesaon, I bet he gets his name called as a second-year eligible.
  15. I have a pair of men's hockey season tickets I am looking to sell as a package. The package includes all regular season home games for BOTH Friday and Saturday nights, both exhibition games and any WCHA home playoff games UND would host. The tickets are located in section 314, Row F, and I don't have the tickets in front of me but I believe the seats are 20 & 21. I am not looking to make a profit. The invoice price was $1397.50 for the pair, and I am asking $1395. If interested DM or email me at: fightingsioux1@hotmail.com
  16. I've heard UND is currently hard after a couple of Penticton Vee kids, but no specifics. Noah Henry and Ryan Gropp make sense to me with their SSM/OHA credentials. Anyone have any insight?
  17. Like you said, Shane's bloodlines scream Maroon & Gold. His father Frank played as a Gopher and his uncle, Neal Broten, well, you know where he played his college puck... But never say never, sounds like he's very much the real deal. This past summer he led the USA Hockey Select 16 camp in points. Here's a glowing review of his performance.
  18. I believe Christian Evers, a big '97 defenseman, visited UND yesterday. Here is a profile with some iso footage (#15): http://reelhockeyscouting.com/category/birth-years/97-birthyear/evers-christian-97/
  19. Duluth East's Connor Valesano will visit UND next month: http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/235441/
  20. Per Twitter, Miles Koules has backed out of his commitment and has decided instead to play for the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers next season.
  21. Did you go to the game last night? If so, what did you think about the recruits on the Lincoln side? I thought that even though LaDue and Johnson didn't figure in on the Stars' scoring last night, they were both pretty good. LaDue has impressed every time I've seen him play - he's really sharp offensively w/out being a liability, as he gets involved in the play quite well while maintaining his defensive responsibilities. Johnson is just a heady player, really good awareness, very good at finding the open areas of the offensive zone. He can be a bugger on the forecheck too.
  22. He becomes a free agent only if he withdraws from school. The wording of the CBA states that if the player "does not remain a bona fide college student" through the graduation of his college class, his drafting team has exclusive negotiation rights "until the fourth June 1st following his selection in the Entry draft." If unsigned as of the fourth June 1st, he then becomes a free agent and can sign with any team at the beginning of the NHL free agency period (July 1st). Danny Kristo is a 2008 draftee, as are Joe Gleason and Andrew MacWilliam, and the fourth June 1st following the 2008 NHL Entry Draft is June 1st, 2012.
  23. Everett's best player is defenseman Ryan Murray, a big-time prospect who is probably the top blue liner in this year's draft class. Top 3 NHL draft pick. That being said, if your plan is to go one & done, wouldn't UND be the choice? I would argue playing against more physically mature players in the NCAA instead of 20 and under players in the CHL would prepare him for the men he'll be facing in the NHL night in and night out come October of 2013. Heck, maybe he'd like it at UND so much that he'd pull a Toews and stay two years instead of just one... My guess, by the way, is that he opts for North Dakota. Jones had a nice night tonight back in Ann Arbor: 1G, 1A, +3 in a 4-3 win over Youngstown.
  24. He fared really well at USA Hockey's Select 15 camp last summer, where he was one of the camp's top scorers. From what I've read his work ethic is second to none, and he's got the genes - his dad, who was also his coach at Omaha AAA, spent a handful of years in the NHL and is a former 1st round pick.
