C'mon, we're all sitting behind monikers saying what we think. I agree with you to an extent, but you are being too judgmental, just like the people you are disagreeing with. Some people on here think they should be the coach, some people just love Sioux hockey and they don't get into the x's and o's. There are people everywhere in between, as well. There's nothing wrong with that. Let's all try to put an end to the constant witch-hunts on here. (I didn't mean to single you out, MafiaMan. If you and siouxvikes would've read more than one post in the entire thread you would see a lot of people were unhappy with the result, so I don't know what you are both going on about. Sioux fans can't win. No matter how we individually reacted to this draw, we are ALL homers/idiots/whatever.

The Gophers had a little puck luck, and we had a little "puck suck" in our own end. Too many defensive lapses that had nothing to do with luck. Kudos to the Gophers for their play, as well.

It looked pretty clearly like Parks didn't touch that goal last night, so Corban should've gotten the goal, but USCHO has it as an assist, not a goal. Zane came in and beat CC last Saturday. Why didn't we roll with him until we lost a game, at least? We are going to run out of season before we even know who our goalie is. Practice is just practice. I don't care if Clarke Saunders never lets in a single goal in practice, because he's good for a couple bad goals a game, at least.

They were better. Still, only the Gophers would still be running guys with a minute left when they are winning 5-1. I hate them.

We were lucky a couple times on the PKs. The Gophers were never at the right place to tap in an easy rebound goal. But we are unlucky that the Gophers are such shameless divers and the refs enable them. (Second call wasn't as bad as the first. But they were both dives/embellishment)

Jess Myers is a classless idiot. He's making lame excuses for Lucia's retreat from the rivalry, not to mention offensive accusations about North Dakota fans. Bruce Ciskie, although he bemoans the ending of the rivalry, seems to agree with Myers' assessment. Funny stuff. We North Dakotans and Sioux fans are just bad people for cheering so hard when we beat the Golden Boys . Don wants to visit more half-empty buildings so the Gophers don't have too much of a challenge.

I just looked at Grimaldi's GWG against Sweden, because I was wondering if he actually did hit it with his hand. Speaking of that, does anybody know the rule on that? Do deflections off of hands not count? Anyway, I looked at that goal again from the best angle which is behind the net, and i slowed the speed down to .25x on Youtube, and I'm almost 100% positive, that the puck hit Grimaldi's stick between his hands. Crazy fortunate, but also took a lot of skill. Very underrated goal.
