and belmont and uab beat UNC. UNC also beat Michigan St and Louisville. TCU beat Tulsa twice. It's a few here that cant grasp the realm of college basketball
-

Odds of both basketball teams dancing this year
ndsubison1 replied to Risky's topic in Men's Basketball
theres no doubt FGCU was better than SDSU last season, but keep in mind they benefited from some pretty favorable matchups. GTown and SDSU werent world beaters and I thought FGCU matched up very well with them. Thats usually what it comes down to. You have a point about the seedings but theres a reason NDSU is being seeded around a 12/13 and Big Sky 16th. Notre Dame finished 13th in the ACC but remember their best player was lost for the season after that game so it is a little skewed. That same team also beat Duke, but it is what it is. Delaware, WMU, and Towson were also decent OOC wins for NDSU. What other team in the Big Sky had wins like that? The Summit is slightly above the Big Sky for good reason. Could it change next season? Of course. The two conferences are usually on par. Last couple of years has slightly favored the Summit. Between the two conferences there's no doubt NDSU is the best team and their overall record and body of work proves that. Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due. -

By some of the logic here.... Belmont and UAB are better than North Carolina. Boston College is better than Syracuse -

In November. Not now. Und has had a decent season and kudos to them for getting the 2 seed and they have a shot at winning the tournament, but NDSU is the better team. 2nd bolded part I also completely disagree with. Most experts would too -
Round 1: UND vs. Sacramento State

i think you guys will be in the championship vs Weber -
he looks like a solid get for you guys. wish ndsu would have got him as we need bigs next season
-
thorton didn't start until we lost olson and he didn't even start in all of those as shepperd did too. its like counting ollman back as a starter when we lost heagle. non starters don't count
-
who were u expecting them to talk about in this thread? und?
-
where you get your numbers? offense: Vraa Vaadeland Johnson Colville Haeg defense: Emmanuel Littlejohn Beck Heagle Dudzilk Smith We do have some guys coming back as backups that had plenty of playing time. Not much difference between Crockett and Ojuri. Bonett should be fine at FB

i dont like this at all. more drone activity around here doesnt sound like a good idea to me

the cincy coach has higher pay than nebraska, florida and florida state. that doesnt make it a better job
-
it is tough to gauge but the summit is higher in rpi than the big sky.of course that could change as the season progresses but if ndsu goes 14-2 and und goes 9-7 in conference (or however many games they play in the Big Sky), we can safely say ndsu is the better team. head to head isnt always a good comparison. what if ndsu sweeps sdsu? und beat ndsu but lost to sdsu. see where im going? unc has lost to belmont and uab. while beating michigan state, louisville and kentucky.

no i think the conversation starts and ends with records

comparing notre dame bball and KU football is a terrible comparison
-
which bison fan other than maybe lakes is comparing this to those wins?
-
i would say because of how good they usually are and it was a game we werent supposed to win. if we make the dance it will be a win the committee looks at and could be the difference between a 12/13 seed
-
well duh. those were top 15 teams
-
have to call you out here. of course its a signature win. theyre a perennial ncaa and top 25 team normally. they havent done anything special in the dance but they were a 2 seed a couple seasons ago. as far as this season making the dance for them remains to be seen but we'll see how they end up
-
you had two 10-1 seasons and 3 fbs wins?
-
fcs quarters through championship are on espn networks along with some regular season games on ESPNU. speaking of larger networks... college hockey frozen four and title are on espn 2/U
