John Hopkins is an affiliated member in Lacrosse and they do not receive any money from the B10 network.

UND does not need to go to the B10, I've said that all along. The B10 offers nothing to UND but letting all those awesome B10 schools ride the financial coat trains of UND and their fans.

Miami of Ohio has History of Success, they have a bigger endowment then UND and their location is a lot better then UND's.

Does UND have to pay Learfield or is it the other way around?

I have included another link on how the B10 pays the new membership schools a small percentage until they are fully transitioned into the new conference (6 full years). In all reality, UND should take their production in-house and sell the rights to a broad spectrum of cable providers.

We've gone over this, UND would be an invite only school and would not receive any revenue from the B10 network. So their only other option would be to split the revenue from the B10 tournament and why would UND want to share that when it would be majority of their fans showing up to begin with.

He may not have Twins money but I would think if he was asked in a private setting, he would help out someway...

One would think that but the sad truth is, they can't. I've been to a few games (wife gets free tickets and its college hockey) and I'd say its 3/4 full each time I've went.

I was just saying that was the rumor going around that he probably heard. Like I said earlier; now that the Blackhawks and Kings season's are over, we will have a clearer picture on who is staying and who is leaving.

No, I believe what you read was the Blackhawks team physician is doing his surgery, which indicates that he is leaning towards signing.

That's so stupid, the biggest home game for the Gophers in the past few years and they might move it to some "$h!t" time! It just shows that UND should not join the B10 (not that they ever were anyway). When the conference values other sports over hockey, you just say no! Gopher football sucks and college hockey is to be played Friday/Saturday.

IF baseball is saved, how does it affect the future? Will recruits want to come to North Dakota only to see their program on the chopping block each year? What happens when MGR Dodson wants to leave because he is tired of the instability of the School/Progam? For me their are just too many questions that make it worth saving.

Kings and Blackhawks seasons are done, I am willing to bet that LaDue will sign as will LJ. Schmaltz is a dark horse who hasn't ever really indicated which way he was leaning. If I were a betting man, I would bet on him coming back. Disclaimer: I have no knowledge of any of these players and what they will do. My statement is based off of observation and past experiences with players like them.

I'm not saying I would've faulted him for going (I would've been happy for him). I am just saying that he made me nervous for a second.

For him to take this long to make a decision, makes me think he thought loooooong and hard about leaving.

Gwoz was a great coach and the reason I think he is taking his time getting back into the college ranks is due to him being selective (as he has every right to do so). He was basically ran out of Denver by some uneducated AD that thought she knew better.
