Mussman wasn't given a budget to hire good people, he was given a budget to hire below average coaches and it showed. If Faison was serious about D1 football he would've address the issue earlier in Mussman's career instead of hanging him out to dry.

I said this weeks ago and you got upset. The Vikes are far from a great team and everyone knows it. The line is horrible, the WR are playing mediocre, they have no running game and now other teams know how to play against this defense.

Siouxfan97, gfhockey and anyone else who has bashed Hak know nothing about hockey and it shows with each post. UND's program would not be where it was at today (and last year national championship) if it wasn't for Hakstol. We UND fans are quick to bash Lucia because he won back to back titles and our rebuttle is "he did it with Woog's players". You couch coaches can sit there and try to analyze any game you want to but in reality, you have no idea what you are looking for. That's why you are at home watching the game and Hakstol is on the bench coaching (in the NHL now).

There is a reason those people who bash Hak sit at home behind a keyboard, while he is in the NHL....

Clearly Carolina isn't the same team from last year because they are 1-3 (don't forget they let there best DB walk). I am not saying the Vikings are terrible by any means, I'm just saying that they need to clean up the dumb penalties and become a more consistent team on offense. If they did that, they will be unstoppable.

Decent teams? out of all the teams they have played, only the Packers were the decent team and they only beat them by 3. Carolina, Tennesse and the Giants are all terrible. Carolina gets the early season nod of being "good" because they were in the Superbowl last year but they are far from a superbowl team this year. The Giants have nobody on defense, no TE and no RB, so of course each team will cover their WR. If the Vikes are to but considered good, they need to clean up the stupid penalties, and their mistakes on offense.

You don't think the X would want a bigger chunk of revenue than what the TC is getting? What happens if all "these fans" that don't show up at the X? Yes, the TC has its faults but it takes time for things to get remodeled when you still have a main tenet that has to play there. 100% counterfeit flag but for $15 bucks its not bad. eBay has a list of the highest ranking searched stuff and i can only imagine how many times the Fighting Sioux name has been punched into eBay. counterfeiters will take advantage of this and sell whatever they possibly can.

I get what you are saying but this game never should've been put in a "cooling off" period. I remember looking forward to these games all the time but now they are just another team in the way of us winning #9.

What I know is that a majority of the player helmets (on the mens side) come from either equipment sales (which they havent had in a long time) or they get sold in a back door deal. The back door deals have kind of stopped compared to what they were in the late 90's/early 2000's, due to the fact that the University knows they can get more money for stuff like this if they auctioned it off.

I would lean on the "authentic replica" side. He had this helmet listed at over $2k at one point. I also would be willing to bet that when UND went logo free, they just took the stickers off most helmets, to save on buying new ones. Men's side is certainly different, as I have seen players helmets in personal collections before.

True but I for one will not be attending that game in person. $100 SRO tickets is a little ridiculous...
