Same could be said about Karl and being brought on as a goalie coach but he got to stay. Ever sense he came on board we haven't been able to develop a goalie, and we utilized the portal too often.

Her and her sisters actions(nodak TM) have caused more issues for their dad than one should. Based on their posts, those two girls seem like everything and everyone owes them something, when they haven’t done anything. I don’t believe Berry is telling players to leave and if he did, I would lose a ton of respect for him.

Notre Dame (football or not) brings a lot more credibility to a network (no matter what sport). Exceptions for rules are given to schools like Notre Dame, not UND.

Hockey East only got 3 games on ESPNs premier channels. The thing that hockey East has going for them in this deal is a women’s hockey east that espn gets to air as part of the deal.

Notre Dame brings a lot more to the table for the B10 then UND ever would. Also, I’m willing to bet Notre Dame negotiated a piece that benefits them.

Ya sure he could leave but where is he going? Sports broadcast jobs (like covering an elite program) do not come available often and usually when they do, their replacements have already been chosen.

B10 wouldn’t, you have to be a full fledged B10 school to get a piece of the pie (it’s in their league rules) from their network. thinking outside the box is fine but saying stupid things like getting rid of Duluth, St. Cloud and CC for lindenwood, TSU and a club team is just plain stupid. Adding those three diminishes our leagues strength TREMENDOUSLY.

I seen what it cost per month/year but I never heard that $190 million deal and it seems awfully high but hockey east is right in ESPNs yard. I do know the deal isn’t just for men’s hockey, it also includes the females too. They are essentially buying 28 teams and well over 600 games.

It will be on ESPN+ app, you will still have to pay extra as they won’t air the games (unless a “premier” game is negotiated) on the regular ESPN channels. The ESPN app is like 8 bucks a month.

Dude, have you looked at college hockey's biggest games (Frozen Four)? The 2024 championship game didn't even draw 500k viewers.

Your question, word for word. right now...if nchc had to choose between having CC in the league or UNLV which would you choose? @siouxkid12 @SiouxFanatic The way you wrote it implies that I have to choose at this moment. At this moment, UNLV being a full fledge D1 program in hockey is just chatter.

And you think lindenwood and TSU would compete money wise? Lindenwood has a student population of 7,500 kids with a $200 million dollar endowment, while TSU has a student population of 8,200 students and a $91 million dollar endowment. neither of these schools is going to give you your "eyeballs" for more money in streaming rights.
