  1. Yup, doesn't sound positive at all.
  2. Let's worry about filling our arena for our own conference tournament first
  3. Sounds like a lot of trouble brewing in BU over Sasha Boisvert antics. Sounds like he is expected to sign with the Hawks once BU's season is over. Blackhawks Expected To Sign Sacha Boisvert After College Season Ends – Pro Hockey Rumors
  4. If UND is #1 overall, they will go where the #16 team is and that might very well be Holy Cross (which is hosting a regional).
  5. The Frozen Faceoff always had this issue when it was in St. Paul. The league tried to replicate the WCHA Final Five for so long that I think fans have been turned off by it. My personal belief is that UND fans are banking on going to Sioux Falls and would rather spend their money on that and/or the Frozen Four in Vegas (which UND is the host).
  6. That's not being dramatic, that's being realistic. Berry had gotten really lazy in coaching/discipline the last few years and it showed. There were a lot more player contemplating leaving if Berry stayed on as coach. Had he stayed on, we would've been getting bottom of the barrel players because the allure of playing for UND was lost.
  7. That’s been told to the students ever since it opened, it’s not new.
  8. You are right, the old Ralph had a much more different atmosphere then the new Ralph. However, that’s not necessarily due to the students as the issue lies with the REA and the “social gatherers” that go to the games.
  9. It's stale because that's what the Ralph wants, it's not the students. You should've seen it when they opened the Ralph and how they handcuffed the students, it was awful.
  10. Well we copied the Blackhawks….
  11. They fired dan bylsma one year after firing Hak. This is what happens when you let spoiled kids run the team. Seattle made the incorrect choice in listening to the players. I don’t feel bad for Seattle.
  12. The only time they will have it better than at UND is if they make it to the NHL right away but even then, they still need to figure out how to manage their time like a professional. Oshie just about killed his career when he left early for the NHL, due to him not being mature enough for the grind of being a professional.
  13. I'll up it to $5.50...
  14. What point are you trying to make? My response was to his recent interview he did after being inducted to the US hockey hall of fame.
  15. Every player that leaves early says that years later. We should be asking, "how do we keep them for that extra year or two"? Had he stayed, I bet we beat Denver in the National Championship in 05.
  16. Game worn or a chinese counterfeit?
  17. And everyone was saying Schmidt wasn’t the guy because of his record at San Diego and other schools.
  18. I mean I don't want to toot my own horn either 🤣
  19. Robbie Bina would like to differ...
  20. Well, at least you learned something. Comprehension isn't something you are good at because I never said he prevented them from winning. I believe what I said was, you can't assume they still would've won if he signed with them because they signed/traded different players that were vital to them winning.
  21. If I remember correctly, his parents played a huge part in him coming to Minnesota. I can’t remember exactly but I think his dad was just starting to get sick too.
  22. With the way that roster was constructed and the amount they paid him, no they were not. But to boldly state that he would've won one had he signed elsewhere is blasphemy. Simply stating that he would've won one had he signed with a past team that has won a stanley cup doesn't make any sense because those teams were put together and won because of each individual player that was there. You take out one of those players, that particular team probably doesn't win. It's called the butterfly effect.
  23. That only makes up 8 million and by the time the Pens won it he was making 9 million annually. So who else you wanna drop to "hypothetically" fit your narrative. Also, if you drop Hagelin the pens probably don't come out of their midseason slump, as he went on a 27 point tear when he got to Pitt. Hagelin was a huge contributor for the pens in the playoffs that year, so its safe to say if they didn't have him, they don't win the Stanley Cup.
  24. even in your alternate reality, your incorrect.
  25. Toronto retained 8.4 million dollars of the 64 million 8 year deal he signed (there was 7 years left). Don't make it sound like it they got him for peanuts. Also, the Pens aren't making that trade if Parise is on the team due to having ZERO cap space left. I'm not a Kessel fan either.
