  1. I think the NCAA has shown that the #1 criteria for allowing schools to keep their nickname is tribal support. With that not being the case in UND's situation, I expect that UND will be the first school denied an exemption. What happens after that will be interesting...
  2. Hwy 85 & 200? Killdeer/Belfield/Watford City area? Nice work!
  3. LOL...thanks for the memory, Brent_Bobyck. I was at UND from '88-'92 and remember Duberman quite well. Remember the old sound system at REA? I used to chuckle whenever I heard this: Penalty to #20 Justin Duberman...two minutes for "splashing". Good times.
  4. Maine fans at the FF in Columbus couldn't say enough good things about UND. It would be nice to see the Black Bears make the trip to Grand Forks again in the not-too-distant future.
  5. I believe the NCAA suspended Paukovich for the game against Colorado College and DU suspended him for the opening game of the NCAA tournament.
  6. Pretty funny, PCM. I think the appropriate line here though is: I'm not a moderator...but I do play one on TV.
  7. Yea, but the early word on the MafiaMan prototype is that when you make his head bobble, his right arm automatically pops up with a dollar for the stripper.
  8. Um....probably not!
  9. I've mentioned stuff like this before countless times, Fedorov. Apparently, GrahamKracker and others on the opposite side of this issue feel that American Indians who voice their own opinion and cheer for teams like the Seminoles, Utes, Fighting Sioux, and Indians are sell-outs and uncle toms.
  10. YaneA obviously DIDN'T stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  11. Max Osceola said it best himself: "Here's another example of non-Indians telling Indians what's good for them." Link to entire article containing the quote is here: Max Osceola Comments
  12. Back to the original topic...I did purchase the Sioux fan bobble head at the REA Pro Shop last winter. It's pretty cool, especially since Forever Collectibles did the design. They have done "Legends of the Hardwood" and "Men of the Ice" along with "Cooperstown Heroes" and others. Could you imagine a "Legends of the Sioux" series with stars of the past and present? They could sell thousands of those things.
  13. A Cracker Jack box diploma? Why that carries about as much weight as a degree from St Cloud State!
  14. ...but you did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?
