I knew you’d go the route of “hey, they were qualified,” over what your other comment stated - “yes men.” Or women as was the case with Susan Rice.
-
I have Obama’s “wingman” Eric Holder and Susan “IT WAS A YOUTUBE VIDEO!” Rice holding for you on lines 1 and 2, respectively...

Were he a Democrat, Richard Grenell would be a hero to the LGBTQ+ community. As a Republican, however, well, you know...
-
Yep, he did. We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Great speech. Then he went out and rounded up Japanese Americans and put them into prison camps.

Haven’t been this disappointed in a day since I got a 3-pack of tightie whities from Santa for Christmas as a teenager back in ‘83! This is NOT a cancellation, but a 365 day postponement of the Hogg event. We’ll see you in 2021. PM me if you would like info on the goodies that I was going to wow everyone with. Let’s just say one would go nicely with your SiouxSports hat.

EVERY president? The news media openly covered for a president stricken with polio (FDR) and made sure the average American voter didn’t see him as a “cripple.” The same news media wouldn’t have DARED to cross JFK and go public with his out of control appetite for sex...hell, they were too awestruck by “Camelot.” The fawning of our media “watchdogs” over Obama was laughable at best. But by all means though, please continue...

Pump the brakes! Let’s not try to sustain the panic we’re creating! At least wait until after the November election before being optimistic!

Which is why he needs a shadow president spouting off that the opposite of whatever Trump does would be the right choice? We all know if Trump came out today and announced he was implementing the Green New Deal with the stroke of a pen via executive order, the news media would be up in arms over the tyranny of Trump and how we cannot possibly survive without fossil fuels and gas guzzling SUV’s. Or did you not notice that the leftie loony bins suddenly could not care less about the environment as you can no longer a) use your take-home Big Gulp or Holiday plastic cup and need to get a new one for each use and b) you can’t use your own shopping bag at the grocery store and now (EGADS!) are required to use their plastic bags?

Well, Joe wouldn’t have cut off flights from China, so there’s that...

Also Democrats: “You go, Joe Biden, and tell that renegade hillbilly UAW worker that he’s full of sh*t! THAT’S the Joe we NEED!”

Minnesota’s first - woman in her 80’s. 81 or almost 90? What does it matter? Chalk it up to coronavirus!

Good thing that Nancy Pelosi was safely being holed up in Darth Vader’s life support pod just in case...

You can pry my 1990’s Playboy magazines from my cold, dead hands.

And again, for those who think Oxbow6, yzerman19, Cratter, and I are heartless pricks...nobody is belittling this man’s death as he no doubt has family mourning him. But to label it a “coronavirus” death and a “tragedy” is nothing short of outrageous. My last-living grandmother passed away a few years ago at the age of 98. Five years of living in a bed in a nursing home, unable to recognize my grandfather, her husband of 50+ years, in pictures. God rest her soul, but thank you, Lord for not letting her last another day. I cringe at the thought of her being used as a “statistic” had she lived to March of 2020 and been declared a “victim of coronavirus.”

It does. Under the first five-year plan in the USSR, between 3 and almost 8 million people perished in the great famine as a result of Stalin’s policies (1932-1933). Stalin’s thoughts? The plan was a success. Imagine how many deaths would have occurred WITHOUT my plan.
-
2nd death in Wisconsin due to “coronavirus” was a 90+ year old man (as I reported here yesterday)... Had he died before the end of January, the response would have been, “Well, that was a heck of a life.” Fast-forward to March and the response is, “Tragic. This didn’t have to happen.”
-
LOL, RIGHT? Don’t you DARE bring up Hunter Biden though...
-
That’s the beauty of this. ”TRILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL DIE! WE’LL BE BURNING BODIES IN THE STREETS!” (8 weeks or 8 months later when that doesn’t happen...) ”SEE? We shut down the country and obliterated life as we know it...but it WORKED! We had far fewer deaths than I originally projected!”
-
Hey, if we drive every American in 2020 back to a 1400’s lifestyle all to save one person, it will have been worth it, right? I hope Biden is already working on a plan to combat the number of deaths the day after his inauguration due to cold temps in the northern states. You know, after we shut down oil on “day one.”

Soooo...UMD source leaks an announcement, then flops to the Twitter floor clutching his head while hoping everyone notices, sees there isn’t much reaction, so jumps back onto Twitter to say that he’s staying. Sound about right?

Seriously though, Godspeed, Gambler. Heard your songs a million times back in the day in SW ND. Even my youngest two boys still ask me to play you on the iPod.

Even Kenny Rogers knew it was time to fold ‘em... (No worries, I’ll show myself out)

I’m told America would be less racist, but I digress... Back in a time period we now spend about 30 minutes a year in high school history class even bothering to discuss, our forefathers had the guts to sign their name on a for-certain death warrant called the Declaration of Independence. A bunch of rag-tag rebels then went out and defeated the world’s mightiest army and put an end to tyranny... ...until less than 100 years later, when half of the country decided there was no “us” in the United States anymore. When all was said and done, a wise President chose not to punish traitors and instead welcome the south back as Americans. The good in America had defeated the abomination of slavery. Our grandparents were asked to save the entire civilized world from the devil’s henchman, Adolf Hitler. It took our Allies years of waiting for the US to even get fully invested in the project. Eventually, we joined in and together we wiped the earth of that stain - and rather than punish West Germany into submission, we rebuilt that country brick by brick. Same with Japan. Our parents survived the Soviet Union seemingly winning over minds and hearts - whether by propaganda or military force - from the 1950’s thru the 1980’s. A “Miracle on Ice” made many people stop burning our flags and start waving them proudly. 11 years later, I remember watching CNN of all channels - back when they REPORTED news - and tearing up while seeing the Berlin Wall being hammered into bits. Good was once again stomping out evil. On 9-11, we watched in horror as we were attacked by terrorists commandeering our own airplanes. I would like to think that while on a plane and faced with the knowledge that the pilots are dead and evil men are going to slam it into a building, that I’d have the guts to be among a group deciding to “let’s roll” and thwart those efforts. I pray that I never find myself in that situation. Again, America’s best came thru in the clutch. That plane slammed into a field...and not the White House. Today is another great challenge. I pray that we get back to seeing what is important in life - God, country, family. Respect for others. Patience. Kindness. My favorite team ever making the Super Bowl again is a hell of a lot less important to me now than it was two months ago. Driving a nice car is a lot less important to me now than it was two weeks ago. When I see my mom and dad again...and I WILL see them again - I will hug them like I’m 5 years old and it’s Christmas morning. I hope and pray we all now realize what’s truly important in life - and it’s not Lebron James, the New England Patriots, the latest and greatest iPhone, or a Snapchat filter. It’s us. We are Americans and we are in the latest fight that we cannot - and will not - lose. We. Will. Beat. This. God bless you all. Enough typing, it’s time for me to pray. For all of us.

A local Chamber of Commerce sent out an email this afternoon complete with a link to Governor Tony Evers’ press release on Wisconsin’s first two deaths due to COVID-19. I am sympathetic to anyone who loses a family member and not making light of this, but the immediate sense of panic that comes with press releases like this is NOT helping. The Chamber director called the deaths “tragic,” which led me to immediately seek the ages of the now deceased. Again, I am NOT making light of someone dying, but the 2nd “victim” of coronavirus in Wisconsin was... ...90+ years old.

SiouxVolley, if ever there was a time for a prediction of yours to be right, now is it...
