  1. I like Barry Melrose...but his predictions aren't the best.
  2. LOL...it's a little late for 'revisions' now, isn't?
  3. I believe Barry Melrose's pre-season prediction of the Stanley Cup Finals pitted New York against Minnesota.
  4. Parise and Suter didn't bring Stanley Cups to New Jersey and Nashville, respectively, did they? Brodeur, Zajac, Kovalchuk, Shea Weber... Penguins are still a playoff team without Sidney Crosby...Wild need depth. You basically inserted Parise and removed Heatley...that's not going to win Stanley Cups. Wild expectations? How about the NY Rangers?
  5. Beat a terrible Edmonton team at home and it's 'hello Anaheim' instead of Chicago. I still think Yeo gets a third year. This team had a lock-out and injuries to Heatley and Pominville to deal with too.
  6. How about the Islanders taking one in Pittsburgh last night? San Jose up 2-0 on the Canucks...same old story in Vancouver. I actually feel sorry for Roberto Luongo.
  7. A shoulder to the mid-section hit earns a 5 minute penalty, game DQ, and 2 game suspension...Wow, NHL, just wow.
  8. Roberto de-commits to Maine...and commits to BU. Keep taking your time picking a coach, Maine!
  9. I thought St Cloud State already had a coach?
  10. Rumors abound about Gwoz being in talks with UConn...stay away, George, you don't want to deal with THAT logo 'controversy,' LOL!
  11. From a few weeks ago...Andrew Miller from Yale (albeit a senior) signed a free-agent deal with Edmonton...the Oilers had struck out on three previous college free-agents in the past few weeks.
  12. Since 2000, the ECAC has seen five different schools represent the conference at the Frozen Four: 2013: Quinnipiac and Yale 2012: Union College 2003 Cornell 2000: St Lawrence Since 2000, the WCHA has seen six different schools represent the conference at the Frozen Four. Granted, most of the WCHA schools have been there more than once since 2000, but the ECAC is not the EZAC of old. EDIT: Not bashing your initial post either.
  13. Yea, that ECAC sucks anyways...those guys can't play hockey at all.
  14. I can never leave a Final Five without having a waffle cone! SACRED HEART!
  15. I'm agreeing with you, to a point, and am not arguing the who is going to devote more money to hockey issue. It seems to me that PSU, by funding a new arena, has already out-classed Ohio State. As a recruit, what appeals to you more? Playing in front of 4,000 fans in a 6,000 seat arena or playing in front of that same 4,000 fans...but with 10,000 additional empty seats in the arena?
  16. It's the playoffs, Goon. I'm sure Corey isn't going to schedule a press conference, admit it was intentional, and demand a 10-game suspension for himself.
  17. I don't care that he's not Matt Cooke...he was suspended a month ago for a cheap shot and last night's incident looks bad as well...
  18. Actually, it is. Penn State will (hopefully) open up in the Pegula Ice Arena this fall (seating 6,000) while THE Ohio State University Buckeyes try to make 3,500 fans in the 16,000+ seat Value City Arena seem like a nice venue for hockey.
  19. Really, Goon? You must have some short-term memory loss...LOL http://video.nhl.com...nsole?id=219545
  20. I think Penn State has made more of a commitment to a successful hockey program than Ohio State has.
  21. My apologies. This thread has slowed down considerably so I see no point in waiting too much longer to place an order. Any revisions or additions can be done up until that point. I will place the order on May 31st. Thank you.
