  1. Hats are in the mail for Fedorov and Wilbur...NorthDakotaHockey set to be at tonight's game with a batch for YaneA and Oxbow6...should be a few new hats on display in the stands at REA tonight.
  2. Ferris State: 10-0 in WCHA conference play - the Bulldogs are the leader of the pack in the 'new' conference.
  3. Nope. 1989 or 1990 against NMU. I will double-check media guide and get back to you on this.
  4. UPDATE from Coaches Choice: Christmas delivery photo-finish! Monikers will go on the remaining hats on Monday the 16th. I expect delivery to be in the middle of next week. We're cutting it close!
  5. Despite sharing shipping costs for the order + adding on an additional $5-$7 to ship hats, I think the price for custom hats was still reasonable. You wouldn't find a similar hat with a Sioux logo on it at REA for less than $30.
  6. I was a bit worried about that possibility happening on the first order but outside of having to put a severed horse's head in Wilbur's bed in order to get him to pay up, I had zero problems in getting reimbursed.
  7. Agreed. The greatest Sioux game I ever saw was a tie.
  8. How about we make the parks 400 feet from home plate to center field like we did in the early 1900's until the 1950's instead of playing on the 300 feet-to-left-field softball fields that MLB players play on now first?
  9. Fixed your post. It's 'southpaw' with a lower-case s, not a capital S.
  10. I have text messages and e-mails sent to my sales rep regarding moniker hats and when we can expect them. Wilbur, Wreckincrew, and Fedorov...check your PM's. I'm hoping to make it to the USPS this weekend and send your hats on their merry way.
  11. Your hats will be riding along with NorthDakotaHockey on Saturday morning as he makes his way west then north. He'll be passing them along to YaneA at some point in the arena. if you're in the building, find a way to get to her seat and pick your three hats up.
  12. Right on. A better comparison would be UND football to NDSU football. Wait...that's a bad example too.
  13. Non-moniker hats that will be in REA on Saturday night: letsSIOUXum (1 black, 1 green) southpaw (1 black) PM Oxbow6 - he will be bringing them back to Fargo with him if you are not at Saturday's game. neon pelican (3 black) remington_270 (1 green, 1 pink) lawkota (1 green) PM YaneA Again, these are only the NON-MONIKER hats. I realize that some of you ordered moniker hats as well - those hats have not arrived yet. Special thanks to NorthDakotaHockey for once again being my pack mule and lugging items for me to or from Grand Forks his assistance in helping me get these hats to the correct location.
  14. Non-moniker hats have arrived. Hats headed to GF will be in REA on Saturday night and turned over to YaneA. Non-monikers for Fargo will be in Oxbow6's hands. Non-moniker hats shipped to me in MSP need final destination points. Please PM me with your mailing address or to discuss other delivery options.
  15. Dear Santa, For Christmas, I would like a competent athletic department, a decent football coach, a volleyball coach with a valid driver's license, competitive women's and men's basketball teams, and a hockey team that rebounds from a bad start to the season and wins the national championship. Love, MafiaMan p.s. Can I get the Fighting Sioux nickname back too? p.p.s. Cookies, warm milk, and a SiouxSports.com hat will be on the table for you on the 24th.
  16. And that's another correct assumption, in my book. UND and Minnesota can now bank on being in the same regional year after year after year after year after year...
  17. Because my post was thick with sarcasm... You see, UND changed the nickname like the NCAA wanted...and is still getting the shaft. Now the company line is "well, you should have done it years ago and we wouldn't be in this situation and the NCAA would give us regionals and stuff." No, they wouldn't.
  18. Still the opening weekend...not much difference, in my opinion.
  19. Pacific did have Michael Olowakandi...he was pretty good.
  20. Actually, it was the second round...Notre Dame beat Akron in the opening round and then lost to Florida State.
