I was trying to be additionally amusing by using a popular saying in Kansas basketball, "rock...chalk...Jayhawk" and instead substituted "Gophers" for "Jayhawks". I apologize for losing you...

And if Kessel had been a Sioux player and Parise been a Gopher, fans here would defend Phil and blast Zach.

I hear their new ad campaign on the radio all the time...the little Irish jig about "we're bringin' in the closer" and his name is Glen Perkins. I guess my big question is...when do you think you're going to be bringing him in? Mop-up duty in the 8th with the opposing team up by 7 runs?
