I'm not assuming anything...but still curious why you picked Detroit over a city with 1,500+ shooting victims thus far in 2014 to compare to Fargo...

So .357 is automatically labeled a "racist" because you know what you read, but the "new Detroit" reference doesn't reflect any racial undertones? What if Governor Dalrymple was quoted as saying he was concerned about Fargo becoming the "new Gary, Indiana" or "the new Memphis"? I'm guessing you'd think differently...

I've never thought of myself as anything less than an American. It's only in the last 20 years or so that it became important to hyphenate yourself.

And most African-Americans I know have never been anywhere near Africa. I'm half Italian and the closest I have been to Italy is Providence, RI. For a lot of eye-ties I know, it's Olive Garden. What's your point?

I don't think many folks would disagree with you on most, if not all, of your points. For me specifically, it's the "we're six minutes into the game and it's still 0-0? What the hell is Hakstol doing?" crowd that gets on my nerves.

Bummer for Nick Foles of the Eagles...I really like him as a QB. Sounds like he's out 4-6 weeks. Mark Sanchez didn't look too bad yesterday...he'll need to be better to keep the Eagles afloat.
