Giving up 2 goals in just under 60:00 of play on the road at Wisconsin is hardly getting lit up. That's pretty solid. However, giving up 1 goal on 4 shots in the 3rd period and yet another goal with under a minute remaining in the game is cause for concern down the road, especially in tight games. Seems like it happens all the time to UND...maybe it's just me. Anyone else notice that trend of the late-game goal?

Minnesota skating circles around Notre Dame every time I change the channel to that game...BC and BU in a good battle...those two teams really don't care for each other.

BC in their ugly gold jerseys and BU in red...can't recall the last time I saw BC in white...

Should be a great weekend of hockey as both coaches are fighting for their jobs early on in the season - Mike Eaves' group stands at 0-4 while Hakstol's team sports an equally disappointing 5-1-1 mark. Anything less than a sweep by either team could result in a head coach being fired on Monday morning or at the very least, their fan website crashing. Drop the puck!

What does 2009 have to do with 2013? Vokoun basically played every game after game #4 of the 2013 quarterfinal series with the Islanders. Given how poorly Fleury had been playing, it's a stretch to assume that the Penguins were going to advance to the conference finals no matter which goalie played. Had that been the case, Bylsma wouldn't have made the switch in the all-important game #5 of a 2-2 series with the Islanders.
