I was a big 76ers guy back then too - still can't believe they blew a 2-0 series lead in the 1977 NBA finals against the Blazers and a 3-1 series lead in 1981 against the Celtics in the east finals...they likely would have won the 1981 title against the cinderella Houston Rockets. Dr J deserved a title long before 1983.

I watched ESPN on Tuesday night and they were talking about the "odds" of Philadelphia winning at Minnesota - I believe it was 17%. I laughed out loud and thought "book it, 76ers win." Andrew Toney, Darryl Dawkins, Mo Cheeks, Bobby Jones, Charles Barkley, Clint Richardson, Julius Erving, and many other great 76ers must throw up in their mouths a little at what management has done to this organization.

I thought the same thing when looking at some of Riley's past season records..

OSU also beat Oregon and finished 10-4 on the season 2007: beat #2 ranked Cal in Berkeley 31-28. Cal had been 5-0 at that point but would go on to lose 5 more games after the OSU loss. OSU finished 9-4 on the season. 2008: 27-21 home win over #1-ranked USC. It would be the only loss on the season for the Trojans, who went on to beat Penn State in the Rose Bowl. OSU came into the USC game at 1-2, but would finish 9-4 on the season. Looks respectable, especially for Oregon State, but didn't the Cornhuskers just FIRE a coach for losing 3-4 games a season?
