  1. Who says I'm not? Doesn't mean I want to buy a $350 authentic jersey when they come out next fall. I need something right now.
  2. I have asked the folks who designed this logo for their permission to perhaps use it on a jersey if there was enough interest in such a project. I figured now is the perfect time to gauge exactly that. Personally, I would flip the logo around and have the hawk facing to the left instead of the right, but this logo is indeed pretty cool. Would need a minimum number to do it - this would certainly be a unique item (and definitely not Reebok). Just throwin' it out there...you could be wearing this along with the number 8 next fall when the new banner is raised to the rafters at REA!
  3. Relax Oxbow6. I'm just happy we're not still debating who the favorite in last night's game was.
  4. Twice already this morning. I'll eagerly await the new logo on some jerseys this year. Kind of excited to see what they come up with.
  5. Of course, you're THIS GUY after the team wins the national championship. Didn't expect anything less out of ya when I went to bed at midnight...and you certainly delivered yet again!
  6. I didn't think that at all. In the end, he was feeling bad for QU and the 5th goal in particular. He just wanted to see them finish out the game hard and play with pride. Nothing wrong with that. Like I said yesterday, one THIRTY PLUS WIN team was going to go home and feel like their season was a total failure. Quinnipiac had a heckofa season and has nothing to be ashamed of this morning. Kudos to them on an outstanding season.
  7. Along that line, GoalieMask, I'd like to give a special mention to those fans and folks who have left us since 2000 and weren't around to see this one. I sent a text to a friend last night about this and couldn't help but think of them. Joel Lovelien, who was a frequent poster on this board (BleedsGreen, BleedGrn, or something like that), THETRIOUXPER, another long-time regular who passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, and my old roomie in 408B McVey, from 1988-1990, Erin Kullander, who attended I don't know how many games with me at REA during those two years, who has been gone since 2014. I know there are many others I'm sure, but I knew all three of these guys personally and wanted to mention them. We miss you - I hope you got together in heaven around the big HD TV in the sky and enjoyed the show last night. SIOUX FOREVER, BOYS!
  8. Now would be a great time to bust out some "Dacotah Legacy" jerseys at REA...
  9. Ugh...let's just celebrate our own team's accomplishment...
  10. No titles in the next five years and it'll be "yea, but Berry did it with Hak's players!"
  11. I love you, brother!
  12. SiouxSports.com...
  13. Thank you, players! Nobody deserves this more than you! Thank you Dave Hakstol - these players are still yours and you deserved to watch them win this after the Flyers game today. Thank you Brad Berry and the rest of the coaching staff for doing whatever it was that got this team over the hump. We as fans are proud of this special group of young men. Fighting Sioux, Fighting Hawks, I don't even care anymore. My heart still belongs to the University of North Dakota. Thank you for reminding me of that. The Fighting Hawks are your national champions! BOX CHECKED!
  14. STICK A GRAND FORKS IN 'EM! Fighting Sioux, Fighting Hawks, just call 'em Fighting NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
  15. STICK A GRAND FORKS IN 'EM! Fighting Sioux, Fighting Hawks, just call 'em Fighting NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
  16. 2001...2005...2006...2007...2008...2011... 2014...2015... A lot of disappointment 5 minutes and 48 seconds away from being washed away.
  17. Fine, I'll say it... YEA HAWKS HAWKS!
  18. QU had played much better since the early onslaught.
