Had that happen to me years ago in Mankato. The conversation went something like this: Fan: Hey, do you post on SiouxSports.com? Me: Sometimes, why? Fan: I like to check it out once in a while. What do you think of that MafiaMan guy? Me: He's a total prick. Fan: Ha! Totally agree. He's an idiot. What's your handle on there? Me: Blackheart.

5,385 for the D-1 opener against Arizona 1,135 against the US Under-18 team Just over 5,000 and just under 3,800 for Yale and UConn, respectively, in the Desert Hockey "Classic" I dunno...still makes Ohio State home games look packed in comparison.

So...when the B1G was interested in ASU, we laughed because they'll be a bottom-feeder in a morgue of a rink. Now that the rumors are that the Sun Devils are NCHC-bound, it's about expanding the conference national imprint and we're all excited. Meanwhile, the "other guys," who viewed ASU as a big-time, like-minded institution of higher learning and thought that the Sun Devils were a logical choice for the B1G, now feel that the NCHC can have them since they're not investing money into the program like Penn State has. My head hurts.

I had to rewind the DVR to see if I heard it correctly, and I did. Bucci announced that UND would be wearing the WHITE jerseys during the championship game and that Quinnipiac would be in the home yellows. That made zero sense and would have been the worst possible combination out of any that were available.

How many of us would have mailed it in and found something else to do after three years of college - and having played in 9 out of a possible 126 games? Wow. That's dedication and perserverance, Mr. Sanderson. Thanks for sticking it out.
