Lost my dad when I was 51 years old…just can’t imagine saying goodbye while I was in college. Such terrible news for this family, God bless them.

I don’t remember that at all. Then again, I was drowning my sorrows in b**bies over at Mettler’s shortly after those games ended, which helped erase my memory of being swept.

It happens sometimes when you’re over 50. I’d see a doctor if the problem continues.

Bad losses hurt more than good wins help. That’s the Pairwise Rankings in a nutshell.

10 of UND’s 21 wins were against CC, Miami, SCSU, and UMD. Yes, they beat the teams that they should have, but that’s 11 wins against everyone else!

Parity? Bad puck luck?

The Pairwise must be tweaked until UND gets to at least 16th, those are the rules around here. A loss and a tie to Bemidji State and an OT win against RMU should be viewed as anomalies, nothing more.

They also lost 1 to BU, so that evens out, plus it was at home. Going 2-6 against Denver and WMU is a GOOD thing? That’s a combined 3-7 record against 3 good tournament teams. There’s that.

Oh please. Denver and WMU were light years ahead of everyone else this year in the NCHC outside of potentially ASU. Everyone else is right where they should be.

I like to point it out as there are still quite a number of folks who think we went “toe to toe” with WMU last weekend.

From my point of view, every team playing yesterday would have boat-raced North Dakota…

He meant that the UMass coach should be taking the “loser” questions…

Their fan patience level just took a huge nosedive tonight though. 2003 is a long time ago.
