  1. I believe his family had logged in as they wanted to post something. I told them it would be taken care of.
  2. "shocking announcement"
  3. God bless you, sprig.  We'll miss you.

  4. sprig is in the back on the far left in this photo - his granddaughter took home the grand prize raffle Sioux bean bag boards that day. One of my favorite Hogg get-togethers of all-time. UND lost the Friday semi-final (again) in the NCHC tournament and we were all bummed out at this event on Saturday morning. We're all smiling, though - almost like we KNEW that North Dakota would roll to the NCAA title two weeks later...
  5. It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I announce that our very own sprig passed away this past Friday. I spoke with his son a few moments ago and he asked me to post an announcement on the SiouxSports.com board. HIs obituary is below: http://www.amundsonfuneralhome.com/obituary/timothy-kessler Tim Kessler was one of the biggest Sioux fans I have ever met. I spoke with him many a time at WCHA Final Fives and NCHC Frozen Faceoffs. He was also a regular at our annual Hoggsbreath brunches and I enjoyed chatting hockey with him whenever I got the chance. To the family, as I know you'll be reading this, please know that you are all in our prayers. @sprig , you will most certainly be missed by your friends here on the message board. May God bless you as He welcomes you home. Goodbye, my friend.
  6. Well, we’re down to the Frozen Four...Hockey East, you have one job. One job.
  7. The only time this season that I’ll be rooting for Pecknold’s team.
  8. I’ll give ASU some credit...I figured that QU would roll them.
  9. I though the same thing of UMass-Lowell a few years ago after their first game...then they went out a day later and got waxed by Notre Dame. Momentum can change in a hurry with time off. New blood in the Frozen Four. Congratulations, UMass.
  10. Oof. Some big hits today as #2 Bowling Green, #3 Mankato, and #4 Northeastern all go by the wayside. On the bright side, #15 Notre Dame is gone. I’m a bit concerned about the remaining field and their chances against UMD, though.
  11. Well, Brown can’t make the tournament themselves, so they’re living vicariously through Providence College.
  12. You know what I call the worst national champion I’ve ever seen? NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
  13. You're right, runaroundsioux. I guess expecting the team to sweep Canisius on the road to have a chance to get to the tournament in Fargo was too tall of a task to handle this year. I almost hope Denver wins #9 so you can go off on here about how they're the worst national champion you've ever seen.
  14. Some schools take advantage of the breaks they’re given...unlike North Dakota this season. Can’t blame the Friars for the obvious flaw in the system. Besides, if Providence was the host school, the Friars would he there anyways.
  15. Putting it in the special intentions box at the 4:00 pm mass this afternoon...
  16. Goodnight Saigon
  17. Hopefully Goon and his new drinking buddy DrunkHockeyGuy are chatting about this exact topic later today...
  18. Dude, what on earth is that apostrophe doing there? Thanks for the alert, @The Sicatoka — the grammar police are on the case.
  19. Friar Tuck’s luck...guides our puck!
  20. Bonus points if you snag a couple of AIC terrible towels for my boys. We’ll be busy doing more demo work on my recently-flooded house. Good times.
  21. If you have a ticket and live near Fargo, there is ZERO excuse to eat it and stay home. Go and maybe watch some college hockey history being made today.
  22. Not bad! Four games in and #9, 10, 12, and 13 on my list are already gone.
  23. @Langster019
