The logo is really taking off (no pun intended) among all UND sports fans. Football, and basketball is really making a huge stride in marketing the logo. Hockey is lacking obviously, but with more and more of the logo appearing in the REA (ice, jerseys, merchandise) it will become more popular among the hockey only fans. Why would they keep the interlocking ND logo just to please the hockey fans? They didn't keep the Sioux logo to please them, and they were the most vocal to keep the name and logo at ALL costs.

He got to the 20 win mark, but can he do it next year, and the year after that? Its tough when you lose a big time player like Hooker, but that's where recruiting plays out, next man up. I think Jones is a really good recruiter, he seems to get a good group of guys. This group doesn't ball like in years past (maybe Jones installed that in their heads), and really got the mechanics down like free throws (easy points). If the next group plays like this next year UND could see themselves in ESPN's bracktology again.

But he didn't deserve a raise after that season, Hoops44 talks about lowest salary, well, you need to earn the money. By winning just 8 games the whole year isn't going to get Brian Faison to open up the checkbook especially after hiring Bubba early in 2014. 16-17, 17-17, and 8-22 isn't exactly raise material. They did go to the BSC championship game the year before the 8-22 disaster so I could see a case for a bump in pay there, but other than that this team has been very quiet since moving to the Big Sky until this season.

You don't get it do you? Look at Jones past records and what was accomplished, not much. No conference titles no postseason tournament wins and basically every year a .500 record. This is the best season of Jones's career. So people are skeptic, and you like to ignore Chris Mussman but UND football fans won't forget, and Jones ranks right up there. So sorry if people are on the side of caution when talking about extensions.

I heard during the UNO-IUPUI game yesterday that they set a tournament record over 11,000 and the announcer said of course it was SDSU vs USD that helped that. If you had a final four of all the Dakota teams that would be an incredible site in Sioux Falls.

A win by Milwaukee would be historic, as the worst team ever to be in March Madness, 23 losses. The record is 20 last set by Liberty in 2013.

That would be Mark Pryor and Bubba Schweigert, and with Brew added to the list, just need Brian Jones to complete the quad!!
