if that whole thing is gone including the 3 year waiting period. UND IMO will have a new name and logo by the end of the year. They need a replacement quick before any more lawsuits or petitions. Which isn't good because any name will look good now to them.

Do you think if Carlson's law (the state law) was unconsitutional which makes the repeal law worthless...it would take away the 3 year waiting period opening up UND to quickly (IMO less than a year) to find a new name and logo therefore never returning to the Fighting Sioux name and logo?

Instead of writing to the paper why don't these people write to the NCAA or visit them in Indy, so the NCAA can laugh in their face.

I am surprised they haven't done that already with the SDSU and UNI games. UND has done it with USD in the past. Hockey does it with Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Denver. I am sure basketball will do it with the Montana's.

UND's ticket prices for 2012 is: $10-$20 but its $15-$25 for Montana and homecoming (Northern Arizona)

That would mean 5 home games instead of 6. I thought it was NDSU's rule 6 home games or nothing. As for moving the games around that works out for my thought of a Dakota team per year. 2012 @ NDSU 2013 vs SDSU (already scheduled) 2014 at USD (2011 we hosted USD) 2015 vs NDSU How about it??

Does anyone know if going 1-13 or 1-14 or 2-13 on the road a UND record?? I don't recall UND being this bad in the NCC days. Of course it helped to play Moriningside.

Gino also lost a National Title game too as did Blais. There are lots of variables when you play a game like if you run into a hot goaltender its pretty hard to score. But as a fan as you say you are I am sure you are aware of this.

I like seeing UND in the Frozen Four or at least in the NCAA Torunament. We could be like Michigan Tech and be at the bottom of the WCHA every year and just dream about showing up at the playoffs.

So not winning a National Titile but at least getting the team in position to play for it is wasting talent?? I guess your coaches didn't teach you anything.

Maybe Faison and the USD AD can schedule a home and home like UND did with SDSU. Maybe a Dakota rotation would be nice that way we play USD, SDSU, and NDSU. One Dakota team every year. As for playing in the same conference..with what is happening in the FBS maybe the BSC would merge with the MVFC. To cut down the number of conferences. Who knows this whole musical chairs of conferences and merging may continue for the next decade.
