Do me a favor walk up to Amy Ruley and tell her women's sports don't mean !@#$. See there are fans like you 1 or 2 sport fan and fans like me who follow and cheer for most of the sports. I don't follow track, swimming, and golf but I follow the rest.

I think UND should be able to win at least half of the OOC games (RMU, SB) hell I heard MSU is down if they go 3-1 before conference play I will be happy, they go 1-3 or 0-4 and it's another long season. UND has played the last few FBS games close (SDSU, NIU, FSU) with Muss as coach, could Bubba get UND their first FBS win? That would generate confidence, excitement and signs Bubba knows what direction to take this team.

I know the NCAA had a timeline to pick a new name but it was altered due to the ND state law matter. Maybe the NCAA forgot. UND did have an unofficial nickname before the Sioux name, so why have a new one now.

Don't worry the NCAA will always find time to meddle in everyone else's affairs.

Muss- did less with more depth Bubba-will do more with less depth. Simple.

The NCAA won't allow UND to go forever without a nickname, they are allowing it now due to the cooling off period that ends in 9 months and 4 days.

We have had worse since Muss took over, its time for some better and it has when Bubba was hired. I think Bubba will do more with less than Muss did with more. (if that makes sense)

How are they looking good in the eyes of conferences? Attendance sure they rival the MAC in football (so does St. Cloud State in Eastern Michigan) but not in the MW, NDSU would be Idaho 2.0, and you see where they ended up (almost back in the BSC for all sports). The men's basketball team is on a high now but how can they keep pumping funds into that and football while letting women's sports go to hell especially to rival MW and MAC teams. It took FU how long to fund the new SHAC...good luck finding extra money to fund an FBS move. Plus you need one thing...AN INVITE!!

When UND had awesome crowds in the Alerus in the early 2000's what was the start times then (on average)? Because if the product on the field is good like prior to 2008 then it won't matter the start times.

I thought the reason for a dome was to have night games. I would rather have it in the evening like 5 or 6.

They show up after a new UND thread is born at BV. They can only bash UND for so long before coming on over here.

There isn't much of a choice in FBS conferences when talking about geography. MAC or MW. The closest MAC school is NIU and the closest MW school is Wyoming, either way we are isolated, but I think the MW would be better off than the MAC.

Outside of the Big 10 and Big 12, the MW would be ideal for any Dakota team due to geography. However getting in would be like trying to get into the Big 10/12...just ask Idaho. Now they are isolated in the SB.

But the goons on Bisonswille is drooling over this opportunity to join the MAC, I can't see that happening while the schools you mentioned is in the neighborhood of the footprint.
