I think 20 is a good number but how about impressive OOC road wins (not just beating the Jacks or Bison) getting to the dance would IMO get him off the hot seat whether we win the conference or not.

What a flashback when they showed a clip from the NCAA titles in 97-99, those were great players with area affiliation. The Pudenz sisters, Katie Richards, and of course my crush Jenny Crouse (from Illinois) but close enough.

It's the same if UND went to the FBS. The only sport where we have a shot (realistically) at a NC is football and hockey. Should we have stayed in DII? No. Just ask the DI teams who have been in DI for decades and has never made the postseason. You never know until you are dancing.

ESPN said UND went 15-1 in the BSC. Close we went 15-5. And as for this being our 6th year in DI it's our second year of being playoff eligible.

USD lost to Stanford, so after this game (barring a comeback for the ages) all the Dakota teams in a Dance will be done. It was a great year for the Dakotas in basketball.

For a guy in his second year of coaching he can use this experience and make UND even better.
