Just got home from the weekend in the cities. Great game today against CC. Best thing I saw off the ice was Trupp walking around with two shoes on. Last time I saw him was he had the walking cast on. Saying a prayer for complete healing for the young man. Great support by the Sioux fans as always. Fun to see many of you there. Stay loud, Be proud, Go Sioux!

12 noon on Friday and It starts 2 hours prior to the game on Saturday . The Hamms Building is a just a short walk from the Xcel Energy Center so I usually just park in the ramps or lots near the arena and walk from there. See you there!

Yes, Noon on Friday Chili and Saturday BBQ pork sandwich. Stop by after the game on Friday too. Last year the band played and we followed it over to the game. Sure got my heart rate up or it might have been the beer too and the fact I was out of shape!

I totally agree, when I first saw them doing that earlier in the year I thought too they should save that announcement for the end of the game. Do they hand out the game ball on the side line of a football game during the 2 minute warning. Feeling very depressed because I had to drive back today and gave my tickets to friends for tonight. Will watch it on the internet instead. Go Sioux!

Music teachers in attendance had to be impressed with the correct beat the student section were using to the cheer of "Let's Go Sioux! "

I'm not surprised by the SCSU attendance. I live in St. Cloud and even last year when they finished 2nd in the League the attendance was nothing to write home about. While in Duluth a few weeks ago a fan from there said , "North Dakota hockey is as big as Nebraska football. On game day everybody is tuned in or at the game." I totally agree... while driving here from St.Cloud yesterday saw lots of Sioux fans on I-94 and I-29 heading to the Ralph! The Bam Bam sticks given out were a nice touch. Loud!

Just got back from Duluth. A fun time and just had to share a few things. DUMBEST COMMENT MADE BY THE UMD FAN SITTING BEHIND ME: "Oshie... I thought he left the same year Parise did? Maybe that's his younger brother playing today." FAVORITE COMMENT MADE BY A UMD FAN IN THE SKYWAY AFTER TODAY'S GAME. "At least we scored a goal." My wife and I stayed at the Radison and so did the team. Rode down in the elevator with Trupp this morning and I was surprised to hear that it's a broken bone. Didn't see a cast on it. Spoke with Lammy this morning as he was at the computer in the lobby checking uscho for scores. He was happy with the CC results of last night too. Unpacking the bags until Friday... then heading up to GF. Go Sioux! Oh and by the way...I didn't make any of this up!

Funny story but true. Another good one was trying to explain why we had to pull the goalie against UNH and they scored an empty netter. I heard her say first 4 letter word! That time I did share with her what we can shout out in public and what we shouldn't. A good omen coming up.... Saturday is our 100th day of marriage and when the Sioux win it will be Hak's 100th win.

I know my wife and I will be yelling Sioux at the end of the anthem. Funny story about that. My wife and I met 2 years ago when I was working in China. We were recently married and she just moved her from Beijing China. She LOVES Sioux hockey ( has been to 6 games already and watched at least that many on tv). The other day she was in the other room studying and learning more about the U.S. She was singing the National Anthem and when she got to the end of it she said, "SIOUX !" She thinks that's how it ends. I didn't have the heart to tell her otherwise

That would be correct. Good food, good people and great hockey. Already have our condo reservations for next Feb. in AZ already. If the Sioux are on the tube, I'll be there again. Does anyone know if the Alumni Dept. will have any special gathers for Sioux fans in Duluth before or after the games?

I was talking with a guy from Duluth and he said that attendance has been so/so and not any sellouts so far. I was at the Mankato game and also the St.Clown ones and was happy with the following that we give our team. My wife and I are heading up Saturday for the games at UMD and are looking forward to seeing a lot of Sioux fans. On a side note, we were in Arizona for our honeymoon the week we played Denver and watched the game at a bar in Mesa along with about 40 Sioux fans!

Not sure if this fits here for not but want to know what is the rule on tie breakers to gain home ice advantage. Right now I'm looking SCSCU and Mankato being tied at the end of the year. Thanks for the help.

We're staying at the Holiday Inn. Looking forward to seeing the Sioux in person after having to watch the last couple of weekends on tv or staying glued to this site and watching the game thread.
