  1. Seriously, what more are you looking for? The color of his sputum, the consistency of his bowel movements? I'm absolutely amazed that they've shared as much information as they have.
  2. Nothing he said precludes businesses from legally being able to run their operations at full capacity or schools being open with a distance learning option for those uncomfortable with in person at this tome. He’s making personal choices based on his own risk tolerance. This is EXACTLY what I, and others, have been advocating for the past six months.
  3. The only solution to your problem is to never go out. Asymptomatic spread is going to be impossible to stop. At some point, this happened for me in about April, people are going to have to decide if the risk of dying is greater than the risk of never experiencing life from this moment forward. Every person needs to decide what their own risk tolerance is and move forward with whatever precautions help you sleep at night. All of us on this side of the discussion would like to do the same without the government closing public places and private businesses for a risk of death and illness that each citizen should make their own decisions about.
  4. A bad zombie movie where instead of becoming mindless brain eating monsters, almost none of the people infected would even know without the test being positive. Truly horrifying.
  5. Because if they don't come out with it and supersleuths on the left find out then it's a huge scandal.
  6. This is where I can't get on board with the way people treat Trump as compared to other presidents. The POTUS is the most powerful person in the world. His health is a matter of national security and in many cases a matter that has massive international consequences. We are on a need to know basis as the public and I'm perfectly fine with that.
  7. That decision is pending and will be made later today. The fact that they are even considering it should be incredible news for everyone that he is doing great. Yet, half of our country wants to continue to believe(Hopes) he is going to take a massive turn in the wrong direction because that would justify all of the lockdowns.
  8. Now look up the risks of prednisone. Dexamethasone isn't some super secret, last ditch effort medication. It's prescribed every single day in our country for people with a wide variety of symptoms. He has some of the best doctors in the country looking after his every move, I trust their judgement.
  9. Serious question: are you upset that the president has gotten treatment that has improved his condition and is on track to be discharged today? What point are you trying to make by questioning his treatment and actions?
  10. What risks are you referring to?
  11. Reserved? Dexamethasone is prescribed in a variety of illnesses. To act like the president isn't going to get a different protocol than the general public is naive. They were using the steroids prophylactically, his personal physician addressed this directly.
  12. If Trump wasn't the President of the United States he likely would never have been hospitalized. If someone had a blood oxygen meter on them at all times during regular, run of the mill illnesses their O2 stats would fluctuate to a similar degree likely. Seeing how many people, including the clowns on SNL talk about Karma for the president is truly disturbing.
  13. I won’t trust reports one way or another, but if in a week he is speaking in front of a camera that would be a pretty good indicator that he’s doing fine. The old and fat part would only further lend itself to people easing their fears I believe. We have an old man who isn’t the picture of health and he came through fine, that’s gonna be a confidence booster for a lot of people. Again assuming it turns out well for the President.
  14. If Trump has an asymptomatic or mild case, this may actually end up being a positive. It would show some people who were previously incredibly fearful that a 74 year old man can come through it no big deal.
  15. What do you disagree with? White fragility is on the new york times best seller list and being quoted by and posted on facebook pages and instragram pages across the country all summer. I don't have any vitriol and I certainly wouldn't blame minorities if I did. I do blame white liberals and their white guilt for thinking they are helping. They aren't.
  16. You may say that being white doesn’t make me racist and I agree, but that isn’t the prevailing thought in our country right now. My comment about racial resentment from white people wasn’t flippant, I’m seeing many well intentioned, liberal white friends being disillusioned in their effort to make a real difference on the racial inequality front when they are being told that regardless of what they do or say, they can’t help but be racist. This is the entire premise of the book white fragility. It’s a circular logic that ultimately always ends with white people are always racist. Its an incredibly unhelpful and dangerous doctrine that has gained a lot of traction.
  17. Two things can be true at the same time. Outside of your expectedly arrogant patronizing to start your thought, I don’t disagree with what you’ve said above. That, however, doesn’t in anyway negate the current thought among left leaning folks that being white in and of itself makes a person guilty. Read the book white fragility if you haven’t already and you’ll see that white people, regardless of the way you were brought up are innately having racism attributed to them. Terms like unconscious bias aren’t being applied to other ethnicities. The prevailing thought in the social sciences is that racism is a white persons perversion. Being a white person in our country is the only ethnic position to be in where people openly can have a discriminatory opinion about you and it’s socially accepted.
  18. What’s leading to white racial resentment is being called a racist merely for having white skin.
  19. Physicians and other patient focused practitioners are to a vast degree in it for the patients. The pharmaceutical and device companies that truly drive the industry, however, are not. They are beholden to shareholders and profit is the name of the game. This is all obvious of course.
  20. Is this some sort of AARP trash talk?
  21. "Don't like it here, go back to where you came from?" I thought lefties like you didn't like statement like that? Also, you're capitalization and multiple ZZZZZ use just outed you. I'm now convinced you and Hayduke are the same person.
  22. What sort of nonsensical non sequitur are you trying to pull here?
  23. Odd that someone would call out hayduke for copy and pasting, yet you respond with a retort as if you are hayduke? I didn't buy the idea that hayduke may have multiple logins, but this certainly is odd.
  24. To some people, not denouncing something makes you complicit in their actions and ideas. Especially when specifically asked about it. Thinking that way is not an unreasonable stance to take against the president.
