  1. I’m with you 100%. I’ll say this. I have no idea if fraud has occurred here, how could I know for sure. But, if these votes are 100% legitimate, in an election that we all knew had the potential to turn into a legal battle, it was irresponsible of these places to have a vote drop of 100k all for Biden at the same time. The optics of that are awful and the allegations of impropriety should have been anticipated.
  2. That happened at 3 am when they said they were stopping the counting until the next morning? You don’t think this sounds fishy at all?
  3. But if they voted for him they aren’t actually black. So Trump doubled his support from previously black men from four years ago would be a more accurate description. Just doing my best to make sure my language is woke enough and all the proper terms people like to be called are being used.
  4. Nov 3rd was a date that was meant to signify once the election takes place and we have either a new president or another four years of Trump. Since we don't know because the election is an absolute embarrassment, that date is not yet here. But you knew that already.
  5. This conversation should be archived as the exact reason why our country is completely screwed. You and so many others have a complete inability to discern any nuance whatsoever and just gobble up whatever BS story the media is running with at the moment. Temporary is a word that has meaning. He isn't calling for votes not be counted, only that the agreed upon rules are followed. I'm sure anyone would agree we only want legitimate votes counted, but maybe that doesn't matter to the "every vote should count" crowd. Your second citation link is broken, but the headline literally says exactly what I've been saying so I don't understand why you would post that to bolster your argument that he is calling for counting to stop.
  6. He said this at 1:15am this morning. Context is important. At that time, he simply stated we don't want any ongoing voting being done. That's all he said, nothing about stopping counting anywhere.
  7. I'm not sure about ongoing voting either, simply stating he never said anything about stopping counting anywhere. Which as usual the media is running with and calling him a hypocrite for wanting counting to continue is some areas but not in others. This is simply not true.
  8. Stop spreading this media lie. He didn't say he wants to stop counting, he said he wants to stop voting. Vast difference.
  9. I'm not sure how he could have phrased it differently and made the point. As an example, I don't wish harm upon the people of Minneapolis, but the city council going on national TV to make their case for defunding the police and then seeing the crime rate go through the roof is an expected and deserved outcome. If the citizens don't feel the effects of their votes what's the point in voting for someone?
  10. I live in the Minneapolis area and agree with what he said. Election have consequences, elect leaders with no spine and you get what you asked for.
  11. Logistically, why does it take longer to count mail in votes? Is it simply a matter of opening them?
  12. Which news organization is the important detail. If that doesn’t highlight how partisan the news has gotten I don’t know what will.
  13. There is a battle over signature matching for votes in Pennsylvania, the law is on the books that certain votes can’t be allowed unless it can be verified through signature matching. Democrats are crying voting suppression while republicans are simply saying the law needs to be enforced until the law is changed if that’s what people want. Until it’s changed, it is law and must be enforced.
  14. If you are talking about Pennsylvania, republicans are simply asking for a law that is already on the books to be enforced. If you disagree then work to change the law, don’t disregard the law because you don’t like it.
  15. Law 80 seems like an upstanding person. I disagree with his politics, but he seems to be an intelligent person and someone with a measure of integrity who would come back to the discussion and continue the conversation. Hayduke will never be heard from again on this thread if Trump wins is my prediction as none of the attributes I use to describe Law 80 above apply to Hayduke.
  16. It's just incredible that this would be happening. It defies all logic. You flee a place that has been run into the ground because of policy decisions and then try to implement those same policy decisions in your new location.
  17. In your opinion are these "refugees" self aware enough to realize what lead to the demise of their previous state? In other words, will they continue to be majority Democrat voters when they land in their new location?
  18. As the saying goes, that's why they play the game. We'll find out soon enough.
  19. In other news, the Hatfields think the McCoys aren't trustworthy, the Capulets think the Montagues are mean and Red Sox fans think Yankees fans are the absolute worst.
  20. Don't let reality get in the way of a good Orange man bad rant.
  21. I often wonder about your last sentence, what would it actually take for people to realize the news they are getting isn't reality. For me it was two defining moments. The Charlottesville coverage of Trump and the MS13 coverage of Trump. These aren't moments where the media has taken things selectively out of context and it's a slight tweak on reality, these are moments where the media flat out lied to the American people about President Trump's words. Sadly, even though the information is readily available, so many people still believe Trump called White Supremacists very fine people and that he called mexicans sub human rapists. So if those moments don't solidify in people's minds that the media is lying to them, I'm not sure what will.
  22. Trump has to be to blame, it couldn't possibly be that protecting the most powerful man in the world is important to our country and the world.
  23. What a ridiculous example to cite if trying to make a case for Trump being selfish. Are businesses being selfish by boarding up their windows? Are citizens being selfish by purchasing firearms in record numbers? Your TDS is showing.
  24. You don’t live in the real world. If Biden is the president and the republicans keep the senate there will be no cooperation. We’ve crossed a political threshold as a country and there is no going back. People working across the aisle is going to become more and more rare. The two parties have simply moved too far apart to create any acceptable compromise when negotiating.
  25. Harris ahead of Trump? So you are voting completely based on personality? She is further left than Bernie, objectively so.
