I am serious. Vaccinations aren't 100% effective at stopping transmission of a disease and even if they were a very small percentage of our population will get this vaccine in the next six months. Whether that is because they choose not to get it or it isn't widely available in all areas. Use Influenza as your baseline. Does the vaccine stop Influenza from making it's way through our population each year? Nope.

How does the potential of an effective vaccine somehow nullify the idea that Covid needs to make its way through the society for society to return to normal? First of all, it's "potentially" effective. Second, how many people do you think will realistically line up to be guinea pigs for the fastest developed vaccine in the history of the world? My guess is it will be minimal.

I'm not saying the result will be different, I'm saying that an election isn't over until the electors have officially made their selection.

You mean like the announcement of pfizer having a 90% effective vaccine a week after the election? Yeah, the covid response in our country hasn't been political at all. Also, the election isn't technically over yet. So to say, see I told you, is a bit premature.

No they won't. Republicans will keep the senate. The takeaway from this election is that people like many of the conservative policies brought forward by Trump and the Republicans, but disliked Trump too much to have him continue as the leader of the country. Gaining seats in the house and keeping the senate is a real message to the far left democrats that their ideas are far too extreme and the democrats need to come back to center.

What are your thoughts on it, not what some article says. The left and the people who voted for Biden are talking healing and inclusiveness while name calling. It's one of a billion contradictions from the left.

I think we’re headed for a relatively brief(2 weeks or so), but very strict lockdown. During this time, testing will be quietly slowed and cases will “plummet”. This gives the optics that if we had done that from the start it would have made a difference and we will slowly get back to normal around Valentine’s Day.

Most of those suburban, stay at home moms don’t know a damn thing about where their husbands income comes from and how voting for Biden would hurt them financially. The amount of conservative husband, liberal wife households in the Minneapolis area is staggering.

Do you think colleges will take days off and offer grief counselors for conservative students? It’s different when the left is involved, it’s important to recognize that.

The purpose of a country is shared values. This country no longer has a common theme that unites us all.

Your comment makes no sense. Saying that more people voted for one person has nothing to do with the states being united. This country is past the point of no return. They’ll be a split in the next 20-30 years.

I wasn't speaking for our politicians, I was speaking about the citizens of our country. If you want a legitimate civil war then that's the path we're on and that's not hyperbole. Civil discourse among the citizens of our country is on the verge of being lost forever. There is only one logical conclusion to that if you look at the history of the world and it will be bloody. We can't afford to believe the other side of the aisle is the enemy, the consequences are too large.

I agree they shouldn't be worshiped, but would disagree with the extreme nature of that worship as it pertains to Obama. He has risen to the level of folklore hero to many people. They'll literally get a tear in their eye and gloss over with joy at times talking about him. Either way, your point is spot on. These people are just politicians and they should be judged as such, which means they should be judged by their policy decisions in my book. That is their job.

The same thing happened with Obama. He walked on water for so many people.

I'm very fulfilled in my life and it has nothing to do with who the president is. I wish you the same fulfillment.
