According to College Hockey News, Notre Dame has secured an independent television deal (regional, not national). I'm having trouble uploading an avatar. It says "Failed to set new photo." I tried uploading without resizing and I also tried uploading after resizing in Photoshop - pixels set at 200 X 200. Lastly, I tried uploading in two different formats - .jpeg and .png. Nothing seems to work.

Gabe Guertler to Minnesota... Via Twitter Honestly, I'm amazed that despite all its recent struggles, Minnesota still lands the majority of the top recruits it wants. Meanwhile, UND is racking up MacNaughton Cups, Broadmoor Trophies, Frozen Four appearances and the like, and has come out on the losing end of a few big recruiting battles this summer. It's a bit mindboggling. Although, it sounds like Guertler has ties to the Twin Cities as his dad is from St. Paul. At this rate I fully expect Fasching and Cammarata to go to UM as well. I would be pleasantly suprised if they didn't.

College Hockey News is reporting that the WCHA and CCHA will merge

I believe everything was 40% off. The jersey I bought retails for $199.23 so I paid $119.54 with the discount. ETA: You would never even know that the items had been 'damaged' by the fire. I bought a white jersey and it's perfectly clean, no smoke odor either. Everything looked good.

I went during my lunch break and when I arrived the line had already snaked around the building and was growing quickly. I heard that the people toward the front of the line had been waiting since 10:00 this morning. I walked straight to the jersey tables and began searching for a UND Parise jersey. People were tossing jerseys left and right and I eventually had to settle for a size medium because I couldn't find a size small. I also purchased a t-shirt and a few other items. I saw people carrying armfuls of jerseys, sweatshirts, etc. The place was a zoo and I ended up standing in line for 25 minutes waiting to pay.
