  1. And you know this how?? Are you Hak's barber?? I think the suspension is just. I think UND did the right thing by acting first. Kupchella hasn't pounded his chest like this since... ? Easy to make a stand as the door is about to close. And you can come out of your glass house any time you want.
  2. The issue I have is that in whatever profession you are in, you need to be credible and reliable in your approach to the job/task at hand. There is no question that McFeeely, per his own print over the years, has some type of bias against UND. Now, was he far off on his piece today...not really. But as a "journalist", you have an obligation to get facts right every time. Guess work and biased opinions should not be the standard in "reporting". He occasionally has some good thoughts but tends to lose me with stretched facts and less than unbiased opinions.
  3. But the Gophs could have easily taken 3 points and the Patriots could be the best NFL team ever !
  4. Glad to see Charles found his onions just in time to move on with his life! Where was that testosterone when the nickname issue came up?
  5. Living in Fargo now for 10+ years, there are few people I know in town who take McFeely as credible. He is a talking head who knows little about what he comments on for the most part. His print should really be in the ed-op section of the Forum. Have run into him on a couple of occasions in social settings and is one of those individuals who thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. If you don't tell him how good a "journalist" he is, he will at some point!!
  6. My bad. Was explaining "chiasm" to a paitent prior to my jottings. I tend to do that at home as well.
  7. And don't think for a second that the RPMs won't be in the red when the boys hit the ice vs. DU! Buckle up!!
  8. Don't think for a second that Toews is thankful he is not playing in the WCHA anymore after watching the UAA series first hand and all the garbage that still goes on without a whistle being blown.
  9. That seems to let Adam of the hook for a totally mismanaged game. You can point to this and that but the Sat. game was a result of the officiating or lack thereof--plain and simple.
  10. That bothered me too. Tha fact that Adam called that with 2:03 left in OT is insane. After all the crap, by both teams, during the game Adam finally finds his stones and calls that?? Was it a penalty--yes, but again it goes back to trying to give the Gophs once last chance to salvage their season when all the other slashing, interference, grabbing was not called all night long. Thanks goodness for Wheeler!!
  11. Nothing else needs to be said as that sums it up! The chiasm between the player's talent and the dismal officiating in the WCHA is widening. In recent years better skill is flooding WCHA teams but worsening officiating is holding that talent back. And from a fan's perspective, games are becoming harder to watch.
  12. He was healthy coming into the weekend, but I guess the constant slashing and hacking can even wear down the best player on the ice!
  13. We saw the same game, but we'll just agree to disagree on this one. Regardless, blame Adam!
  14. Zajac was sticking up for Oshie and Lucia for Anderson. Coward? I think Wooger was calling that out...on the Gophers!! Don't just defend Lucia without seeing Zajac's side of it. From however you want to see it, Anderson was trying to take a shot at Oshie as the horn sounded and Zajac wasn't going to take it. Kudos to Lucia for being the only Goof to strap on a jock this past weekend!! But was entertaining to say the least. To comment on our offense from other posts. What offense? And our PP is no existant over the past couple weeks. JPL can't win every game for us.
  15. There is a reason way the Gophs are struggling and the Sioux are on a 9 game points streak. It is called team . You can say what you want, these two teams hate each other but it was the guys from up north that stood by each other, fought for each other and gave for each other. Not to mention that tDon is wasting talent by not each that team is greater than an individual. Wheeler is the perfect example of a "me" player. Pop the jersey at every opportunity to show how great "I" am, but when push comes to shove...head for the closest hole. Not saying the Sioux are faultless in the antics of last night, but as the Wogger said in post game "you got to show some degree of courage, some degree of stand-up-ness" . There in lies the difference between these two teams. Both are skilled but one team will go to battle for each other while one team wait for the coach to get on the ice before spouting off and looking tough. But the sad part is most of this could have been avoided if the WCHA had officials that had any courage themselves to call a game the right way so things don't getting out of hand like last night. Adam lost control with the Peltier/Trupp incident.
  16. Only punches of the game and the Gophs wind up with the PP
  17. Adam said "No, 2 minute minor not one."
  18. Was watching on TV. What happened to Oshie??
  19. And Bina has been pathetic as well
  20. And everyone else! PP looks horrible!
  21. Let's see the boys come together like they did vs. MSU when Oshie got tossed.
  22. With Duncan out, UM is really keying in on Osh when he is out there. Going to need to get some big plays from the VV line to win this one.
  23. That might be a big factor. We seemed to get more steam as the game went along last night. Tonight??
  24. Looks the same as last night minus Duncan
