Then it needs to start with a "W" tonight if that's going to happen. This team seems to have defensive lapses that cost us at least a goal a game and a goalie miscue that costs us a goal a game. They are not real disciplined as to penalties taken. This team's potential on paper has not been shown on the ice to date. I hope you are right. but...

Agree...2-4 in our last 6 games. Thinking we get anything more than a split would be extremely optimistic.

One of my good freinds is a Griz season ticket holder. He is very excited to see UND on Sat. and even more excited they joined the Big Sky. He said the Griz have been playing "decent" as of late. He feels the Griz will score a bunch on UND but could give up a bunch as well. His guess is Griz by a couple TDs when it is all said and done...and I couldn't argue against that.

UMD is better than DU...who they have played to date is who have have played and nothing more. They are winning the games on their schedule. With the Martin incident...if he gets up, no penalty and no further discussion. Late penalty call all due to the fact he didn't get up. Now with the serious of his condition, Malone IMO will be gone for the series. Nelson centers Trupp and Frattin if that happens I'd guess.

Disappointing news. Happened right in front of our seats. Happened quickly, like most plays in hockey. Was difficult to watch. My girls each prayed fom him last night and our family will continue to do so.

Believe he was 19 for 25? But I would say he was hardly accurate. He missed a few wide open receivers and I think I recall him hitting two guys in stride w a good throw. Overall decent, but he is not a "thrower".

Thought of your 6 Dman, he struggled the most. Simpson's the real deal IMO...even without the goal last pm.

Explain... Agree wtih the Rodwell comment. Davidson is more that solid w Mario's line and have played well together. That line vs. BSU has a consistant of play as any line that night. Think Davidson is very undervalued for what he brings to the ice.

Think that goes for Kristo as well...even more so IMO.

Per Hak, LaPoint to play Friday. Simpson sits?? Want to see Davidson suit up Friday. Like what he brings on that 4th line. Anyone else still waiting for Cichy to play up to his pre-UND hype???

We are going to give up 1 goal...for series?!?! That, my friend, is glass completely full. If we don't give up a goal in the first 5 minutes Friday, I'll be estatic! Like I posted earlier, i don't scoring goals will be the problem this weekend. Stopping them might be.

Nothing negates speed more than speed going the opposite direction. Let's turn Kristo, Frattin, Trupp and some of the others lose and put pressure on them.

If he starts to play anywhere close to last year...then maybe. He just doesn't seem to fit on that 3rd line IMO. I'd try flipping him and Hextall Friday just to see if that would jump start Danny.

At home for the 1st time this year, the guys will be flying especially after a pathetic east coast trip. UND will get it's goals both nights IMO, but can BE or Dell stop the puck 2 nights in a row?

I'll refrain on should he go or stay, but the bottom line is we have regressed in our overall play the last couple of years. Offensively, we are unimaginative and lack consistant skill/play by our "playmakers". Defensively, we are a shell of what I have watched the last 12 yrs. Very little pressure from the front 4. Average LB play and a secondary that doesn't cover. In my opinion Muss, needs a win vs. the Griz or at SDSU. Participation ribbons...please. After a 45-0 drubbing...to hear we went toe to toe with em?!?!? Really. This program above all else needs to start getting some quality, signature wins. Not FBS wins although that would be great, but quality FCS wins. A win vs. Lamar next week doesn't count! But I'll still be there to watch and cheer Sat.
