WOW!!! Totally clicking this period.

Anyone else get the sense that this one is going to get real ugly sooner if not later.

We just need to have Lee in net every game!
-
Nice to see Roe is still wearing the Speedo!
-
Because of that "officiating" job, don't be suprised if it is a total donnybrook at some point tonight.
-
Exactly...let it play itself out and get it over with. It's gona happen at some point.
-
That didn't take long...SCSU on PP.
-
On a side note just heard Chevy stopped 44 of 45 for DU last pm.
-
We can't give up PP goals tonight and expect to win. And Kristo can't be the square peg trying to fit into the round hole...he has to find a place to fit in on the ice tonight.
-
The black sweaters are a given tonight. Hit a couple of open nets and make a couple of big save=win!

In ATL and snowing like crazy! Global warming!? Getting "Gore-d" no matter where I go! Need 2 points tonight in a big way. GO SIOUX!!

Correct. There is an 86% chance of hitting major flood stage in Fargo (30 ft.) and a 10% of hitting 40.1 ft. These % were given out prior to the last 9-10" of snow this past weekend. The new revised flood forecast comes out, I believe, on Feb. 19. This will take into account the snow from this last storm.

Live in Fargo and we are already planning the 1/2 mile, 4 ft high sandbag dike that saved us last year. Was noted in the local news today that so far this is the wettest winter on record EVER for Fargo! Two 500 year floods back to back??!! Lived in Williston in the mid to late 90's. That town was a complete mess...was still recovering from the previous oil boom bust. People west of Jamestown generally have animosity for Fargo. Don't get it either and never will. But I'm sure I can place a call to Fetch in early April and he'll come running to help throw sandbags for a week!?

Geez...do you ever just punch yourself in the face just to start a fight? How many times in this thread have people pointed out factual "things" and the same "things" over and over. Pull your head out of your...

Dude, did you just have a colonoscopy today? I have read some of your posts today on various threads...wow! We all have bad days, but...

Or possibly he/she is the owner of the McD's and was there checking to make sure that the crew, all NDSU Ph. D. grads, didn't skim some coin from the till!

We'll have to agree to disagree on these issues, but to the 4 comments of yours above: 1) Nat'l Championships are the goal, especially with UND's hockey program. 30, soon to be 31, NFL teams will all be in the same boat soon. You only have one winner in all sports when it's said and done. That doesn't mean seasons aren't a success, but if you ask any players from UND in the past 5 years if they reached their ultimate goal, I think you know what the answer will be. 2) Right now, you think any one, Hak included, cares about streaks or stats? They all know they need wins and at this point they don't care how they get them. 1-0 or 7-6, they'll take a "W". 3) Why does anyone play any game? "You play to win the game." 4) Cornell's streak has what to do with UND? Their streak is broken, UND's is not. Again, we are looking at things differently. Past teams had different players and were playing at a different level at this same date in time. You can take what you want from those teams, but frankly it tells us nothing about this year's team IMO. So again, we'll just agree that we see things differently here.

No worries, I had the same feelings towards Hot Pockets a few years back!

Saturday's game was a game where not all the guys on the ice showed up. I saw it and Hak saw it too. Hak even mentioned that in his post game comments that there were a number of "passangers" on the ice Sat. But to the team's credit, it's the first time I've seen that this year...not all the guys giving a solid effort. Why do you think the bench was shortened and lines were juggled mid way thru the 2nd period? I'll bet anything you won't see that effort, or lack of, from anyone on this team again this year. If there is one thing about Hak's teams, effort and work ethic is a must.

Me too, but I'm getting extremely bloated!

Easy...you know your experiences or the experiences of others you referenced are inaccurate and irrelevant because none of you are on the "right" side of this controversy.
-
Hey now...you are actually making sense! You know those from SU don't care for that sort of thing!

Correct...we need to focus on getting wins, not sawing Marvin in half. As for this thread, Hak is a good coach and will be here for a long time, which is fine by me. My concern is last night was the first time all year, I saw only a handful of guys "show up". There were a lot of passangers out on the ice last night. This is a young team that is obviously frustrated by the recent string of games and outcomes, but last night was the first time I started to wonder if Hak and his staff might be losing a few guys mentally. I'm not going to throw any player under the bus, but it was obvious that some guys didn't come to play last night.
