Great take on all if this. If Colton isn't injured would like to see Mark Colton and Bryn. Mitch isn't the guy there. Connor could work though. Was nice to see an early goal...keep momentum with PK then score the 2nd one. Kudos to Jim and Pattyn for getting nasty. This team needs more of that.

I had a buddy fly in for the weekends sports activities. He went to the basketball game with me. He played at this level at a different school and he said it was some of the poorest D1 basketball he'd seen. BTW I'll PM you from now on as to who I should post to with the green and white glasses on.

What I/we finally saw last night was a team play with a sense of urgency and purpose. That was a top 5 team in the country last night. Have to carry it forward though. Pattyn's line was the best line on both teams all night. Rodwell finally decided to play like he is capable of. Jim is just flat out solid. Let's be honest...WI sucks. They are SCSU w/o a PP unit. They dive and look to instigate then turtle...pathetic. The last four series we have seen one good team...Minny. CC and WI are marginal to poor. SCSU is OK if they can play special teams but nothing special. Zane looks like he is grabbing the goalie job. One hiccup...zero reason to leave the net like he did in a 4-0 game.

The only UND player I saw today that would've gotten a sniff of PT on that team is Huff and he would've been guy #7 or #8.
