Read a 22 year old lady went to work in her Halloween custom...as a Boston Marathon bombing victim and promptly got fired. No filter by a bimbo results in loss of employment...kudos to her employer!

I hope both these teams are healthy come week 17 and if so we'll see how that game shakes out. ARog and Matthews just might be a bigger deal than Culter and Briggs. Bottom line the Bears even without their injuries were a marginal playoff team. The Packers were not. All last night proved IMO is the Bears have a servicable backup QB and GB has anything but that. And if sounds like I'm a little bitter...I am! Oh...and fire Muss!!!

It has been awhile...and under the circumstances in which they won I'm sure most Bears fans are more giddy than they should be. Can't remember a NFL season with this many injuries to so many big time players as this one. That game showed the great value of having a serviceable backup in the NFL.

I love watching Rocco play, but at 5' nothing and dreams of playing in the NHL, he can be dynamic and electric but at his size he has to be able to bury the puck at this level...often. He hasn't and is not doing that.

UND is averaging 33 SOG/game at this point...the problem with that stat is the fact that UND's play each game is, and has been now for a couple years, dictated by the style of play by the other team. UND doesn't impose it's style/system of play on anyone anymore. Play Miami with their racehorse style and we go up and down and get off 40 SOG. Play St Cloud and their clog up the neutral zone and we struggle to get anthing going and get off 20 SOG. The current system with the current players doesn't dictate pace or style of play. We simple try to adapt game in and game out IMO. When The Pony Express and Co. was around they had the horse up and down the lineup to fit Hak's system to impose that style of play on any team every game. Now that just isn't the case.

UNO will play up tempo and will want to get up and down the ice and get pucks to the net *insert your own Blais man crush comment here* and IMO this will only help UND better it's play from last weekend or at least I hope it will.

Agree...just wish Hak wouldn't always be a "my system" guy. He has some unique skilled guys that can really skate.

I will be shocked if we get swept...at some point Rocco has to shake his poor play as does a few other Jrs. Too talented to lose 5 straight.

You are right...I owe the team and Muss a sincere apology over the misinterpretation of 10 or 21 penalties issue. Now who do I send the reimbursement form to to recoup money I wasted on season tickets again this year? Or I'd even take an apology from them for wasting my time on 5 different Saturdays.

Now you are the policing agent for Muss? I stated I misread the penalty stats from Miller and apparently someone else did too. But in a show of hands how many would have been shocked if UND had 21 penalties? Seeing no hands...moving on. This team is undisciplined at 10 or 21 penalties a game. Now go get your next "inside" scoop on Big Snacks...

No conclusions drawn...all I know is Chyzyk wasn't one of the 2 worst forwards Friday...and *gasp* neither was Mitch. There was some reason those 2 didnt dress in front of Sanderson. My point is most of these guys take dumb penalties but is the "punishment" equal if that's the case? (just thinking out loud) But swinging a stick at the head... Will see how that shakes out.

Some suggested Chyzyk sat last night because he took a dumb penalty Friday. So did Drake last night when we were on the PP. So did OD the night before. Now you have a captain going head hunting after he gets lit up. I guess there are different rules and leashes for different players now?? Because you won't see Drake or Parks sit next game.

Last night's game revolved around 2 plays IMO: 1) Rocco's inability to score SH 2 minutes in on a breakaway. 2) Zane's misplaying a cover up of a rebound that gives SCSU an easy 1st goal. If both of those go UND's favor, heck if only one does...I think we don't get swept at home...for 1st time in roughly 4 years. We cannot transition up the ice out of our D zone at all. Horrible passing or chip it out off the boards or glass. Rocco has to get going for this team to have a shot. Luke needs to center that line next week. Mark Mac's line just has to show up next week and that will be an improvement. Assuming Colton can't go...Chyzyk Tambo Murphy then Patty Gaarder Rodwell. Panz needs to play. He and Rodwell need to provide some grit at this point. I still like the make up on this team but we are an easy team to play against right now. UND can't give goals away in net though and can't take consecutive shifts off. I'll echo Wilbur...Stecher is the most complete Fr. Dman I've seen in the last 15+ years at UND. 3 straight NCHC losses...bleeding needs to stop in Omaha.

You're right...now it's just waiting out 2 more losses for this disaster (The Muss era) to end.
