Rocco Parks and Mark Mac all have to figure out how to score. The 3 coming back IMO that have the potential to have good years and really step up are Drake Colton and Bryn. Being in Fargo Chyzyk to me has great offensive upside. More than Colton. But something was a miss with him this year. Pattyn is who he is. OD and Mitch...meh. Not a big fan of either. Connor had 5 goals... 3 in one game but I like his play. Jim and Derek are grinders...period. Goaltending will be our strength and our D should be more consistent especially if Forbort is back. Schmaltz looked disinterested for the first 4 months of the season but improved a ton. Simpson is a stud. Mattson...goodness really regressed. Next season will be a challenge unless Hak can coach em up and get more than they have to give...but that would be a first for him in his ten year stint.

Park's injury coupled with Mitch becoming eligible half way thru season IMO caused both issues. Not to mention the OD man crush.

Exactly what was our identity? We tried to dump and chase and cycle all year long...how'd that work?? This team played it's best hockey when they cut it loose and pushed forward and Hak turned them loose.

Style of play needs to fit personel...didn't this year.

You have 3 D1 supposed big teams at UND...hockey MMB and FB. Would not say all those hires are looking good so far.

You are spot on all fronts. Kristo's pipe a minute later made me wonder if this wasn't going to be our night. Tell you one thing...if we had half a team that busted their butts like Colton did all year we would be having a different conversation. Like Mark Mac but this 3rd period was one of stupidest individual efforts or lack thereof I've witnessed. People that have real jobs get canned that same day for on the job crap like that.

Rowney Parks Mark Mac OD and Rocco to an extent really didn't elevate their play down the stretch. 5 of your top 7 forwards basic did little over the last month. Smoke and mirrors doesn't but it.
