Um...never said talent had to do anything with it, but if someone is hurt a good chunck of time and doesn't produce much with the talent they have, I just find it an interesting choice over someone like Rocco. The General is not top 6 in talent but he gives you everything his talent allows every night...that's the difference. Um...so that's just my take.

Agree w all of this...Parks w an "A" surprises me for a kid that is injury prone and has IMO underachievied for his talent. #19 was a pick of mine to get a letter but his play will lead by example.

Agree but beating the Cats would give Muss a "W" vs. his highest ranked opponent so far. Some will see that as progress, probably even Faison, even though we might lose by 30 to EWU.

As banged up as the Cats are, UND could possibly get a cheapened signature win and that would probably allow Muss to survive another season.

Oldest daughter playing in soccer tourney in Blaine first weekend in October. Going to Wild/Ducks game that Saturday night...can't wait! Following weekend is UND home opening series. Drop the puck!!!

My daughter is playing in her own sporting event at 1 pm...not a hard decision for me not to make the trip Saturday especially after what I witnessed the last 2 home games. WIll hit the EWU game though regardless of Saturday's outcome. Have to do something between hockey games!

As far as the FB programs, we are nowhere near being on "equal footing". Consecutive NCs, recent host of Gameday, a legit HC...and I could go on. UND...coming off a blowout loss to a conference opponent at home, sub .500 record overall vs. FCS teams and a HC that at best is suited to be a coordinator.

Wow...that coach might need to buy Muss a cup of coffee and visit with him about accountability and not sugar coating the obvious.

I had SU buddies pissed last night that ONLY about 30% of the Gameday broadcast was focused on their team and program! This just in....99.99% of college FB could care less about NDSU FB. This is a big day for NDSU, Fargo, ND and the FCS. Too many times in today's society "we" (generally speaking) get rewarded and praised for mediocrity...not in this case. Well deserved by NDSU! Has underperformed in his 3 years to date at UND. NHL type body with better skill than his production so far. I think he'll have a decent year.
