I just don't agree it should be automatically taken off the table because of your reasoning. Again I like it, as do others, but will Rough Riders stick...probably not.

Give me your definition of controversial. My gut says it will be some PC BS but give it a try to humor me. I'm in favor of Rough Riders. Doesn't mean it will happen but this high school debate is "lame". In today's society, labeling anything as "controversial" gives a pass from having to deal with reality...it doesn't inject any sense of reality IMO. It's an enabling term to those in the minority to gain a PC advantage in their reasoning.

Who cares about GFCHS or GFRRHS and what they or their alumni think? If a good majority of kids that graduated from those high school were also alumni of UND, then it would hold some water, but most of UND alumni who care about the nickname issue could care less what those associated with those 2 local HS think. As to the bold comment...that will unfortunately be the case...so get ready to cheer for your "Mighty Aardvarks"!

Chara has been exposed for the overrated Goliath he is in this series. Believe he has been on ice for 7 of last 8 Hawk's goals. That's not a coincidence. Kane and Toews aren't backing down and are skating circles around him and Bickle provides some protection if needed. Seidenberg..McQuiad...Boychuk...nothing but hacks IMO. This series is starting to show why talent w speed will beat "physical" play in most series. And Lucic and Horton don't wear a halo either. As for the trip w 15 seconds left...you call that after all of the garbage for 59+ minutes goes uncalled...that's NBA officiating. GO HAWKS!

Boston got a ton of bounces and the Hawks made one poor play after another in their D zone all night long and still won. Leddy is struggling, playing only 2:37 TOI, but not any more than Oduya. Emery was 17-1...17-1!!! in the regular season. Crawford hasn't figured out the "catching" glove actually can be an asset! IMO short leash for Crawford Saturday. GO HAWKS!!!

Oduya is having an awful game...he's been the Bruins 2nd star so far.

If your vehicle is not under warrenty for service repair and you are in the Fargo area, I'd go to United Automotive just off of 32nd Ave. S. Have never had an issue there. After the last UND/NDSU FB game played, I went to Eide in GF snooping around for an SUV and was treated great. Told them what I was looking for and they found that identical vehicle in Jamestown and had it delivered to me that Tuesday. Had been to multiple dealers in Fargo prior and got the run around.

Was at the game Saturday night. Just a great venue for baseball. The food is...well, ballpark food. For those going to a game in the future, hit Black Sheep Pizza on 600 Washington Ave. It's within walking distance of Target Field. Woodfire pizza...best in the metro. We hit the one in St. Paul as well during the Final Five...or did now that the F5 is no more.

Beck has had a run in w the law prior to this at SU. He sent a guy to the hospital due to a violent act...period. He also then turtled from the cops. Regardless of anything else no suspension of any kind would be a total lack of accountability in the big picture for Beck. GT has zero stones though. What a tool!!
