My bad...that team did get off to a "hot start" going 8-5-1 heading into the Thanksgiving weekend.

If you carefully read what you have written, there in lies the problem. This isn't an anomaly with Hak's teams and their lack of success before the break...it's a definite trend. At some point with a little puck luck and/or our own "hot goalie", one would think one of his teams would surprise us all and get off to a really hot start...at least just once.

Bottom line this team needs to produce more goals on a consistent basis...especially when you give up roughly 3+ on a game. Now who is going to score them is the issue IMO.

As far as Jackson...better to get out now if he has any reservations about sticking it out at UND cause the team doesn't need those types hanging around and then bolting later on.

Auburn plays Bama Saturday in SEC title and FBS Natty implications and this after Auburn went winless in the SEC last year. A different/new coach can make a huge difference...immediately in some instances.

No argument here...their D is marginal at best. Can't stop the run or create TOs and under McCarthy they have to be in the bottom 3rd of the league in getting off the field on 3rd down. Rodgers does give them more room for error though as he does the rest of the offense. But remember GB put up similar yardage #s yesterday...with Flynn. ARog plays yesterday and that is a 17+ point GB win as Ponder would have had to throw it more. Just difficult to watch this season unfold as the schedule was set up for GB to make a big run starting with that Bear's game.

At least 2 scores...cause the MSU Bears, who you said will beat UND by 3 TDs NEXT year, beat the Jacks by 14 this year and UND only lost to the Jacks by 7 this year and the Vikes and Packers tied yesterday. I get it now...

I was out west in the Badlands hunting this weekend so I didn't see either game but 90+ SOG and 4 goals in 2 games and this is a week after Maine hung a TD and extra point on BU? Hot goalie(s) no doubt... And just watched the OD "slash"...

A healthy Rodgers over the last 4 games and GB is 8-3 at worst.

Huff and Nash are as talented a 1-2 combo that UND has had in a long long time.

Not sure they didn't play each other but based on common opponent SDSU possibly...and this year has nothing to do with next year's 2 teams and UND losing by 21. Just saying I don't think that will happen next year.
