    I'll retract my previous statement about never being disappointed in a burger at Sickies..........the glazed donuts burger is nasty. In my world donuts should never be combined with hamburger. All other burgers I have tried have been great though.

    My guess is JL Beers for some but IMO Sickies with the superior burger options is #1.

    Sickies has way better wings than BWW IMO. Their fried green beans are outstanding and their cheese curds are very good as well from an app standpoint.

    In places like Chicago, just to name one, I hope the police start patrolling less in the areas where there is this rampant black on black violence/crime and let those that live in those areas sort it out. What's the point of having a significant police presence in those "communities" around the country when those that live there can't stand the police.

    We eat at the one in Fargo almost weekly as a family. Great food IMO........have never been disappointed in one of their burgers.

    I would agree that looks more like a sports logo. Generic.....yes but how many ways can one invent a logo for completely overused sports nickname...Hawks. All that being said I'd be much more willing to purchase something with that Hawk logo vs what we have now. Just my opinion but if UND had this newly created Hawks logo and kept the interlocking ND logo as an alternative I think from a marketing standpoint it would be much better off. I have yet to find one person I have actually talked face to face with.......UND supporter or not...... that likes the current logo. Not one.

    Well thanks for setting me straight that the vocal minority is always right but isn't how this nickname/logo mess started to begin with? .........and my looks have been questioned often too in case you're wondering.

    Strawman argument..........go back in this thread and follow all the multiple schools the use a variation of the capital "M". UND could have the bird logo and the ND logo. I think for some this would be more palatable then force feeding this bird logo exclusively.

    I understand it well..........trust me. No race or window needed. "Whole package"......whatever because anyone who looks at this current situation objectively really understands why the interlocking ND was cut out of circulation. What part of that don't you understand?

    So come up with 3 alternative Hawks combinations soon and put them exclusively up against appearal vs. the 3 above at Scheels in GF and Fargo for 1 month starting 8/1 in a back to school promo and see which one sells more. ..........oh wait that can't happen because we are stuck with ONE atrocious logo.

    You are giving those involved in logo process way way too much credit if you actually think this was the thought process from the get go. Spend $50k on something that you know will need immediate improvements...........don't think so.

    Out in Big Sky, MT on vacation. Went into Bozeman yesterday and was wearing my 2016 UND National Championship t-shirt. Had nothing F-N Hawks on it. 4 different people throughout the course of the day basically came up to me and said the new nickname is bad but the logo is worse. "Go Cats" stuff was everywhere in town.

    Was driving south on University Dr in south Fargo at noon and saw on an electronic billboard an ad promoting UND broadcasts now on KFGO. The billboard ad had the new "Hawks" logo on it. Absolutely. Hideous! To actually see it being used in an advertisement spread solidified how poorly this logo really is.

    Just a guess...........Ausmus living in EGF probably has a history and connection with the old logo. O'Brien from Illinois probably got his first hint UND even existed when being recruited in 2012. Apples to oranges.

    O'Brien: "I love it". Ausmus: "Ugliest...I have ever seen". O'Brien: True representation of a UND athlete, great leader and true American patriot. Ausmus: Poor example of a UND athlete, feeding resistance to all, and a Canadian who should have stayed in his own country because EGF is close to Canada. .........am I missing anything?
