Not disagreeing with this. Long season but UND has dug themselves a big hole to climb out of. They can always just win the NCHC tournament then the Pairwise is irrelevant.

Nothing I saw this weekend changes my mind on Michigan St. They are very much a below average college hockey team. UND's "reality" is they are not very good either right now. That was painfully obvious too.

Also for what it's worth Shaw left game late in the 2nd and wasn't on the bench at all in the 3rd.

UND's net front to just outside the dots defensive coverage this weekend was absolutely atrocious.

You do understand UND was playing Michigan St at home this weekend correct? Michigan St is a really bad hockey team and UND did something at SCSU that they hadn't done since 1998. If you are tryiny to make chicken salad out of the huge pile of chicken s**t from this weekend.........stop.

That loud thud you hear is UND dropping from 5 to 14 in the Pairwise after this shameful exhibition of hockey this weekend.

Bowen's line was solid all night. Gornall gets it as does Smith. Both just short on skill. Pogo and Rhett have not been good for weeks. Simo was really bad all weekend. JJ had a terrible weekend. Wilkie is a bust. Hoff had 2 bad hooking penalties last night but his play overall is decent. Jost and Gersich are real good consistently. Brock is hurt. Our D-man are consistently inconsistent. Cam was great vs SCSU and was poor this weekend. Our special teams suck too.

If you have to have a players only meeting tonight after not responding to last night's s**t show there are some real issues in that locker room that have zero to do with talent.

Both have been very disappointing so far.

Both have bright futures but are either close to Schmaltz from last year as 2 way players to make the big jump? Jost......maybe. Boeser...not close.

Let's be clear.......the guys with #2 and #9 on jerseys were the leaders last year. UND doesn't have one of those guys now.
