Of the 4 teams yesterday I thought DU's 18 skaters were the best group up and down the ice. Hoping for a win but my gut tells me UND goes to 0-6 in the Tardump Center.

Lots of moving parts in all of this but if QU wins today they are the overall #1 seed. Providence is a lock as the the #4 overall seed. SCSU and UND round out the other #1 seeds with SCSU currently at #2. Not good at math but looking at it my guess UND has a greater chance to be placed in Cincy than the X when it is all said and done as I think UND will wind up being the #3 overall seed after all the games wash out today. But if the Gophers win...

Our seats were in a predominantly UMD section. Passionate fans, knowledgeable and mostly good folks. One d**k right behind me though.....was that you Biddco? I kid...I kid.

Was a really good crowd. Mostly UND fans but after the early goal there wasn't much to get them/us revved up. Much thinner for 2nd game though.

Ran into my first A-hole usher. Went to say hi to friends in Sec 124 before 2nd game started. Walked thru curtain. Mr. Usher promptly came after my daughter and I. Asked if we had tickets in "his section". I said "no just want to say hello to some friends". He said we need to turn around and go back to our seats. We exchanged a few pleasantries......and then a few more. Pathetic display of muscle flexing.

Just walked by the UMD players in the Skyway. Lots of smiling faces.

Quick thoughts before we head back for game #2: UMD was good defensively. Very little time and space. UMD top line >>> CBS Cam has to be better 28 and 4 are a train wreck just waiting to happen UND's 4th line was invisible For the first time in a long time shifts were taken off

Good venue. Couple UMD fans begging and I mean begging for every call. Annoying! If the CBS lines decides to play north and south for awhile the score might change. Cam hasn't been razor sharp.

Can wait to see the live action in 3 hours. 3-2 Sioux
