I was in GF that day the Regents voted 5-4 to take MK off UND's hands. Not one person I talked to said......"That's a shame he leaving".

Agree it is a big drop off and yes the talent is down. Recruitment is a crap shoot at any level. Seemed to miss on the current So. and Jr. classes. Of the 8 that played this season 3 were Sr. and 4 were Fr.

I never said he was the best coach but you said he was 3rd or 4th best. What metric did you use to decide that??? He's done a lot with less compared to other NSIC schools IMO. MSUM is tough to recruit to. He also has D1 experience at Iowa. Not saying he's going to get hired but he deserves a look. 30-6 and 35-4 in 2 seasons at MSUM from '14-'16 is impressive.

And that is why the 2 or 3 guys you have above him in the NSIC are on this short list. Oh wait..........

When the Board of Regents, making this decision, is an elected body in today's political climate it was/is bound to be a 3 ring circus regardless of the candidate (s).

3 of the 9 Regents on the University of Colorado Board have come out publicly on how they will vote on Kennedy. One will vote yes... Republican Two said they will vote no..... Democrats. The U of C Board of Regents is one of the few boards that is elected. The Boards has a 5-4 Republican tilt.
