So UND sent out an email to students to get Covid tested with the allure at a chance of $500 credit in bookstore IIRC from what my daughter told me. Well played UND.......test a bunch of asymptomatic kids to find positive cases so that the university can go strictly to online learning and still collect full tuition dollars but still allowing kids to live in the dorms.

No deaths in Cass County for 30+ days and hospitalization numbers a non-factor even though the Fargodome is now available for 200 extra beds if needed with the MVFC canceled but the public school date pushed back and going with a hybrid model. Heard for HS sports in Fargo each athlete is allowed only two people as spectators per event. Wear a mask and all is well we were told.

107M adults are defined as obese. Multiple studies in the past have shown the flu vaccine is much less effective on the obese population. "Experts" are weighing in that this will probably hold true with a coronavirus vaccine as well but on a positive note at least being fat isn't contagious. We must protect the most vulnerable and now the most fat among us to ever survive this virus. Lockdowns will surely help.......

Bingo! And I'll reiterate this point.....even with a vaccine there will still be at a minimum 50% of this country's population that will be at risk due to not wanting to get the vaccine or the vaccine not being effective.

Again the goalpost have completely switched in this country. Not about flattening the curve, not about deaths, not about hospitals being overwhelmed.....just about "numbers" now. NCAA Chief Medical Officer Dr. Brian Hainlie stated 1-2% of all student athletes tested so far by colleges and universities nationwide have been positive. (Again positive doesn't equate to being sick) Can't wait until we get to zero positive cases to resume college athletics in this country. ........but at least these kids will have more time now to go spend with their grandparents.

The NSIC just canceled all fall sports.......those in LTC facilities just breathed a sigh of relief.
