You see in print the Princeton coach and players talk about their speed being their big assest. All things are relative when you play in a different conference. Will be interesting to see if they have "speed" compared to UND. You know they haven't seen a team as physical as UND, but UND can't play "dumb" physical hockey and be going to the box all day long. UND wins this game in one word--OSHIE!! 4-1 SIOUX

I didn't fall into the majority to pick SCSU to win this afternoon and I am by no means a knowledgable hockey fan. But when I saw SCSU at the Ralph, they were the softest team I had seen this year. I know soft...I see myself in the mirror every day and saw Brittney Spears on the MTV Music Awards!!

Some think this game will be close. Maybe but WI has been off too long and they'll be rusty. Plus I don't think they score more than a goal. Plus playing a "confident" DU squad would be alright with me vs. an upstart Bucky squad in front of a home crowd.

If they win vs. Clarkson, I'd be suprised. Unless they get 3 PP goals that game, they'll be one and done...again. They are weak 5 on 5. Defensively average at best and Weslosky is ok.

Let's hope LaPoint is back and healthy soon, but even if he was ready to go this weekend, I still think Marto would have been along side Jones due to his speed and UND playing on the bigger ice.

This team needs it's first line to produce from here on out. Period. You can talk about balance, but this team will advance on the point production of Oshie and/or Duncan. Others will chip in but that is the reality of this time of year. Kozek gives the other 2 a better chance to produce than Miller. Miller or Kozek on that 3rd line in my opinion is a wash.

Malone, Radke and Zajac make up a solid physical 4th line. Miller adds some speed to Martens and Frattin. Frattin has to show up this weekend. He could and should make some plays on the 3rd line.

Agree. So how is he a first line guy if he wouldn't play if not for the injury to Trupp?? Miller is a good skater with decent speed and skills, but not on the level to skate with Osh and Dunc.

I think Michigan is as good as anyone. If Miami doesn't make it thru their regional, there is one of your answers. St. Cloud is the softest team I'v seen play this year. 5 on 5 they are average at best. Also will have some comparisions after CC/MSU. On the big ice and at home, that game should be CC by a wide margin.

Is Hooligan's strictly a bar? My 8 year old is going to want to watch the game somewhere on Sunday too.

U of Manitoba game? That line needs more grit than what Miller brings. Especially when Oshie is getting mugged constantly.

VV moves Oshie to wing and Oshie is a beast at center. VV is one of the top 2nd line centers in the nation. Miller doesn't do it on the top line. Kozek to me is the one to continue on that first line. You have to remember Miller couldn't crack the lineup prior to Trupp's injury and now he is a first line player??

I doubt there will be a better player on the ice this weekend than Oshie and that in a nut shell is why I'm working on travel plans to Denver!!

I would be shocked if Marto isn't on D this weekend with Jones. Big ice and better speed. And Radke has to play as well. The team's record with him on the ice is what it is. He bring alot of intangibles to the ice.
