I don't think anyone is getting their hopes up. Hard to after how this season has gone. I wouldn't be surprised if they win this series to advance. But I'd be very surprised if they managed to win a game in St Paul if they do advance.

This. We've seen it time and time and time.....etc etc again. Go back to last year in the NCAA's against Michigan. Just once I'd love to see a killer mentality out of this team. Go out there and pour in a couple more goals to give them a cushion. WMU does that almost every game this year.

Hopefully Schloss' gamer has the stat on the last time that UND went an entire period without a single SOG. I thought it seemed somewhat even in 1st, UND could have had another 1-2 in the 2nd...but the 3rd period was just embarrassing.

15-0 SOG this period...UNO has almost as many this period as UND does all game. This is tough.

I'd settle for a SOG or any sustained O-zone time at this point.

Then we, as alumni, need to open up our wallets and start getting that 1883 Collective some real money. Unfortunately that is a double-edge sword...it's harder for people to contribute money to that as the program sinks lower without real change.

Yes, for sure. If it did happen, I'm guessing it would be more to do with the players than any sort of coaching adjustments. I think we've seen that mid-season (or mid-game) coaching adjustments aren't a strong suit of ours. The longest winning streak this team has put together is four games, and that was against Miami and SCSU. Not encouraging. We'll see how the team looks tonight....
