I think Frattin will play regularly. The coaches aren't going to bring a player in a year earlier than expected to have him sit on the bench and practice. Sounds like he can put the puck in the net too.

Peltier doesn't have near the offensive ability of Goligoski (and probably not the defensive ability either). And expecting a freshman in Fairchild to "replace" Goligoski is a stretch as well. The blueline for the Gophers will be young, but they are talented as well, so I expect them to be fine after Xmas.

Frazee will have a good season, but his numbers won't reflect how good he plays. He's bound to give up goals with the defense that will be in front of him. How he plays will determine if the Gophers win or lose on many nights, as there is the potential for some shootouts. Agreed on your last statement there.

Agreed. He has a great wrister, it's just a matter of getting him on a scoring line with a playmaker. His first two years he was asked to fill a role on a defensive line, so if he's made strides in the offseason I could see Hakstol putting him on one of the 2 top lines and giving him a chance to show his offensive skills as well.

We have one person that has said that Grieco might play a year of juniors and another person that said Hamilton is no longer on the team. Let's wait until we hear it from UND before declaring it official. But I don't think that DTP operates that way. DTP should know that Fornier also couldn't cut it at UAA either...so not sure what he is talking about there. I could see the Hamilton rumor being true, as we will be loaded with forwards. But the Grieco rumor? We would be left with only 2 goalies this year, unless another goalie is being brought in with this recruiting class. I doubt that rumor is true.
