I heard that to gain entry into UMD's Penalty Box gang, you have to have a minimum of 4 DWI's on your record. Is that true?

I'm guessing that this won't have any affect on momentum that the Sioux currently have. And it certainly didn't ruin my past week. Are you still a little tweaked from last weekend?

I agree that with Gregoire signing with DU, that certainly opens the door for Nash to fill the last 07 forward spot. And then we can get Toews for 08.

Bad news on Cichy as well. Hopefully he doesn't decide to go to the Q. He could be a good player for the Sioux in 08.

Yes. They really liked the play of UND in the Sat game. The one announcer said that it was the best team performance that they had seen all season (even despite all the penalties). I don't get into the ref-bashing much, but both announcers commented a few times about how plays that UND were getting penalized for...the Gophers weren't. They were confused by that. But they did a really nice job overall. Very complimentary toward the Sioux and especially the DOT line, Chorney, Bina, and Lammy.

I don't think that if Toews leave that Oshie would automatically follow. It's not like hetero-lifemates Irmen and Potulny at UMN. Toews will be gone for sure, but Oshie could stick around for another season IMO. We could certainly use his offensive skills at forward once Toews is gone.

And unfortunately, those could be our 3 losses to the pros after the season. But for now, hopefully the team can keep up with this play against UMN. A split there would be great for the PWR.

Agreed. The DOT line will always be a threat on the ice, so other lines are going to have to cover if they don't score. The all-frosh line of VV, Zajac, and Forney has looked VERY good at times this season, and if they could chip in with a goal here and there (and keep with strong defensive play), that would really help the Sioux in the tough games upcoming against UMN, DU, and SCSU. Anyone hear anything else about Kozek? Hopefully it's not anything serious...

Especially being that BSU will be a TUC. If the Sioux can win tomorrow night too, these two wins will greatly help their chances of making it into the NCAA tourney.

This is the same BSU team that swept MSUM, UMD, and split with CC. They're a good team. A win is a win. I'll take this 3-2 win for the Sioux.
