For as dominant UND was in that period, if UNO scores on the 5x3 PP to start the 2nd, it was all for nothing because they couldn't capitalize on any of the chances and extend their lead. This team is frustrating to watch most of the time.

It's almost like Rhett makes it his goal to get a penalty on the PK. How many 5x3 PP's has he given the opposing team in the last 2-3 weekends?

Two best centers on the same line. Two low-scoring juniors on the same line as our points leader. Johnson (D) in at forward instead of Adams, who's actually shown some offensive flashes lately. A few odd lineup choices there, but good to see Jones and Mismash make it back on the lineup sheet.

We'll have an excellent d-corps and goalie for next season, that's a huge start. And as a plus, there's no way the offense and PP can be as bad as this year, so that's already a better team. I doubt they'll be a dominant team next season, but I'm guessing that they make the NCAA's next season after missing two years in a row.
