  1. I think he was more saying that UMD could pass SCSU, preventing UND from traveling to Duluth for first round. UMD is on a roll, they could definitely pass both WMU and SCSU.
  2. I think I've watched 5-6 DU games on TV this year. I'm pretty sure that Plant has gotten injured (to the point of having to leave the game) in every single game I've watched. Is that possible? If he's having that many issues, Monty needs to keep him out of the lineup until he's actually fully recovered.
  3. Tonight's lineup screams SWEEP!!! For DU.
  4. The goal should be to just take no penalties. After watching the PK vs UMD, that might be our only option.
  5. We should have Simonson fight Borgstrom then. Agreed on Thome. If he's healthy this weekend, I wouldn't mind seeing him on Friday night.
  6. What would that statement be? That we can't compete with skill on the ice, so we'll just have a player get suspended instead?
  7. If UND gets a single point next weekend, I'd call it a success after the results this weekend.
  8. UMD PPG Sweet.
  9. Going out on a limb here...UND will not score on the PP to start the period.
  10. There's a good chance we face them in the 1st round of the NCHC. If we want to keep the WCHA/NCHC postseason streak alive, we'd be forced to beat them there.
  11. Another UMD PP
  12. Gersich and Pogs
  13. Time for another UMD PPG. UND penalty
  14. At least DU doesn't have that many talented players, so next weekend should get easier for the PK units.
  15. Seriously. How much can our PK suck? They need to completely re-evaluate both the PP and the PK.
  16. Another UMD PPG 3-2 Dogs
  17. The marbles have shifted. 3 straight PP for UMD, including giving them 2x 5x3 chances.
  18. At this point, we're hoping that they show up once this weekend.
  19. Who do you think really steps up next year to provide scoring for this team? No one has been consistent this year, and then you take away Wolanin, Pogo, and Gersich from that equation. Not to mention our starting goalie.
  20. Yeah that's my logic too for next season. Four important players..some of which aren't producing as much as hoped this year...but still good players that will have to be replaced with freshmen.
  21. I think next years team takes a step back compared to this year and then is better the following year.
  22. To be fair, it’s probably a safe bet that UND would split in a series against ASU this year.
  23. This teams issues to me seem to be lack of consistent scoring, horrible PP & PK, and lack of upperclassmen production. Don't get me started on the special teams. They’ve been an Achilles heel of UND teams for years. Even with much more talent than this team they’ve struggled, so it’s not surprising to see them be horrible this year. Poganski and Gersich need to consistently be the best players on the ice each game. And that just hasn’t happened.
