How huge is that Jones transfer? Such a great UND-type player. I can’t wait to see how well he does next year...just bummed that we only get him 2 seasons.

I was too busy on April 1 to be able to check out the chn site. Oh well. From the sounds of it, they sure put a lot of time and effort into a website for a single day. I’d have to take that as a compliment to our fanbase. I only ever go to chn for pairwise predictor anyway, so I won’t be too upset if they’re not big fans of ours.

SCSU will have to lose more than Borgen if they're going to drop. They return a lot currently...they'll be good again. Unless the suffer from the DU-drop like the Pios did this year after returning everyone.

Yes, that critical 6 game stretch in February against the bottom three teams in the league...in which they won two games...was certainly a cohesive, well-playing team.

This game was ridiculous. Michigan scored 2 goals in like the first minute of both the 1st and 2nd periods. That team was so stacked, hard to believe that group never brought home that big hardware. Five PPG!

Man he was horrible. His whining at the end about how UMD had to spend 7min shorthanded to end the game was hilarious. I like how the Jones kneeing was only a "clip", yet the Gersich play earlier when him and another UMD player collided going to the net and then the UMD player ran into their goalie? He kept saying that it was a "dirty, dirty play by Gersich". From the replay, it looked like they just collided like a normal hockey play. Gersich didn't even get a penalty for it, he got a penalty after it for roughing when the UMD player went after him.

Strange seeing this thread pop up this early. Been a long time since that happened. It was an odd season...at times this team looked like they could hang with (and beat) anyone. At other times they couldn't even beat last-placed Miami. The theme of this team will always be one of inconsistency. And that's unfortunate...as they really did have decent potential from watching them skate toe-to-toe with DU and SCSU in many games. For next year, I really suppose it depends on what happens with Wolanin, Gersich, Gardner, Poolman...and any other surprise departures like Adams. I think they'd all gain something from coming back, but I would guess Wolanin and Gersich won't return. Gardner and Poolman I think would be a good chance at returning. Adams I would guess could have a great offseason and be a top-6 forward on next year's roster. He did show some great offensive ability early this year. Too early to think about this stuff. It's a long way until October...
